FTP Server - no need to edit host file

  2) Your information is not correct because it does not work, and without the location of real files, you're just throwing random thoughts that come into your mind to innocent players who are doing everything they can to get in.

  There will be people doing that.
  
  Likewise, if you are just as clueless about the matter as everyone else, providing false information is more harm than good.
  
  Therefore, your information, once again, is incorrect and outdated.
  
  I can make a thread with hypothesis and telling people to read random threads and download/replace random things, and at the end say "oh I was right but just didn't have the right files". Yeah sure, that helps a lot of people.

  Reinstall mabi :/ That's the best way to solve it. By now, you've probably screwed up your patch files anyways.

  Reinstalling Mabinogi won't do jack because client file itself contain the same information and what we need is the update, not the same files overwriting over and over again or the same files being deleted and regenerated over and over again.
  
  p.s.: assuming you have a clean Mabinogi client.

  I wasn't saying reinstall the client to fix the ftp issue. I was saying reinstall cause he didn't make a backup after trying this fix and his files are so screwed up that he may as well reinstall and start clean.

  No point trying to run around and arguing. Stop trying to patch your client and wait till thing settle down a bit then try again.

  I'm (still) running on the light version of Mabinogi, and it seemed to patch just fine. I've been using it ever since the latest g13 update magically derped my giants, and it's been working fine since. I made sure I uninstalled correctly then deleted the remaining Mabinogi folder. I'm not savvy so I'm not sure it will help anyone, but the Light client has been really nice to me.
