FTP PATCH FIX - using official patch files

  There have been some fixes posted already. This is a different method, which does not rely on files uploaded by other players, so this is a cleaner, less trouble-prone method to get your client to patch properly.
  
  The problem here is that they screwed one of their FTP servers, by not putting the v74 files on it. That (bad) server's IP is:

  The solution is to manually redirect mabipatch.nexon.net to a working Nexon patch server's IP: 174.35.24.78 using your HOSTS file.
  
  INSTRUCTIONS
  1) Open Notepad with Administrator rights. pic
  2) Open the HOSTS file in Notepad. The HOSTS file is located at: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc pic
  3) Add a line to the HOSTS file to redirect your patcher to the working IP: pic
  174.35.24.78 mabipatch.nexon.net
  4) Save!
  
  Start your Mabi as usual and it should patch using the official patcher files. Have fun!
  
  Important Note: You may want to edit the HOSTS file again after you have patched, to remove that line in case the server's IP changes in the future.

  Yeah I figured as much, hopefully the moderators can move all 3 patch fix threads to the right area later.
  Good fix, I thought of doing that earlier but couldn't ping to the ftp server correctly. Let me see if this helps fix the stuck game start button too.

  Nexon staff needs more coffee, I'll bet 50 cents they forgot to upload it to every ftp server they got and/or fell asleep while trying to upload to them all.

  Yeah the ip fix works for now until they change their ftps by random chance. That fixes the game start problem that my temp fix was having issues with.

  Asked anyone who was able to patch normally to give me the IP that mabipatch.nexon.net resolved to, for them. :) Aubog007 provided the IP.

  So different people are resolving different IPs for patches? Shouldn't each machine act as redundant backups for each other instead of just forcing each user to use one separate machine? That's pretty dumb 3:
