For the life of me, I will never figure out why people swear and curse! Especially when they know the meaning of the words they are using!
I will now systematically run through a list of common expressions (involving curse words) in America these days and show why each one makes no sense. A word or phrase in bold is a synonym for the more foul counterpart.
"I will kick his donkey!"
What have donkeys ever done to you?
"You son of a female dog!"
Why are you talking to puppies? They don't understand human languages... unless it's Clifford the Big Red Dog.
"Why the fornicate did you do that?"
People who use this expression have no idea how the English Language works.
"That kid thinks he's the poop"
That kid has some self-esteem problems!
Moral of the story: Think before you speak!

You do realize words take on new and additional meaning as time goes on right...?
Curses and swears are generally a good way to easily express anger and extreme emotion. People do use them a bit too casually these days (I know I do a lot) though.

Yeah but these "new meanings" for curse words are stretching it a bit far lol.

This. Just like "gay" used to mean "happy." Look at what it means now?
Words change, that's all there is to it.

Funny topic. XD
Reminds me of the convos I've heard. Let's see what they'd look like if I decipher'd them...
"Dang, man. That poop last night was the fornicate. You should go check that poop out, man!"
Pretty sure you meant 'female dog'...not the puppies. :V
"She's a total female dog but I'd fornicate her poop anyday."
Yeah....profanity is so stupid.
"I'm the poop,female dog!"
But yeah, even if words do wind up being used differently...it's usually un-necessary...:v Like how one would use the word for poop: "Watch out for that, poop!" Then they'll turn around and say "I'm the poop!" Yeeeah...
/has too much fun with this topic...odd enough :what:

It's been somewhat proven that when in pain those who use curse words can take the pain better than those who don't.

I don't know... profanity only makes me more frustrated.

Hmm do a test, hit your thumb with a hammer. First try it without saying anything then do it again but then exclaim Jesus is my savior!
Then compare your feelings of pain.

if it makes you any better, turks use donkeys as a pretty bad profanity too
I'm not sure what donkeys did but ..
and @lan, I think it's somehow related to relieving the emotional part of the pain?

Normally, I would just yell (without words) when I'm in pain. Besides "Jesus is my Saviour" is a positive thing while curse words evoke negative emotions.
