Hey there everyone.
Now, I'm sure all you high level people remember what it was like starting Mabinogi for the first time, and exactly how hard it is...
My main character is a human, Total lvl of about 80 something and a current lvl of around 30 I think. Anyway, I was wondering if maybe a few of you more experienced players can possibly give me a few tips on what places to run (Preferably solo) so that I can level at a decent rate and still earn some decent cash.
I use mostly melee, though I have a little skill in Alchemy and magic. Range not so much...
I'd greatly appreciate any sort of help or advice you could give me. ATM I'm currently just running Ciar normal over and over again, which while works is starting to get ineffective.
Thanks ahead of time to anyone that decides to help me out.

I've done that one a few times. Only ever tried the easy version of it though. Wonder if I could try out the harder versions and still do it fine...

Yep, it's restricted by total level. Basic is for everyone, Intermediate is for 100+, Advance is for 300+, and Hard is for 1000+. I also recommend you start ranking windmill, it's a very powerful mobbing skill and will be the basic attacking skill for melee-ers. Once you get it to R9, you should start doing Their Method Basic Or Int located in Tara.

You know, I never really liked Windmill, probably why mine is such a low level. Looking at what I've been reading around here though its apparently one of the better melee skills... Go figure I would choose to neglect the good skill...
Thanks for answering my question. Guess I need twenty more levels or so before I can do intermediate..

It's a normal reaction.
It seems pretty useless at early ranks compared to other skills such as smash.

It doesn't seem to have a very big range either, at least at early levels.
That and I freaked out a bit when I noticed my health was really low despite not getting hit, then I looked and saw that Windmill drains some HP. I was like O.O?

That's exactly why its unattractive at earlier levels.
Counterattack can get the job done.

Does that health drain thing go away at higher ranks? Because it could get really annoying if it doesn't...
I think thats how they hide the fact that its so awesome from the new players... From what I've seen even non melee characters tend to pick up Windmill.

Nope, always drains 10% of your max HP. It won't be as big a deal later on though.

Well that kinda sucks, but I guess with the kind of payoff this skill is supposed to give it really won't matter.

Wow... I can't even get past G1...
