Ehh, with the fix I'm able to spam mag a lot faster then with a long bow, then it also makes FS useful, in the fact that it does speed me up instead of giving that delay.
Being stopped isn't really that bad. If there truly is a problem, either wm then range, pet play, etc. I personally haven't had any problems with getting stopped cause of the lag fix.
Also, I'm uploading 2 vids comparing with and without lag fix
for those who don't believe. For reference, the vids are being shot with a 13 ms ping connection, de-naggled. So it's definitely not my connection.
The refire delay for consecutive magnum/crash shot is always there depending on bow speed, with fast and normal bows it is noticeably shorter and disabling or enabling the mod won't affect an in-game mechanic (I tested this a lot back when I got interested in how bow speed affected elves). Even with 0 ms, you will have to wait out the refire delay according to the bow's speed rating and no animation is able to change that.
There is no such delay at all when using regular elf range, so even if the mod was capable of disabling that game mechanism... you wouldn't need it in the first place, since the concerns of "elf lag" originated from regular range to begin with.

There is no difference except that one animation ends abruptly so it feels faster :/
I tested both settings extensively and played with one or the other for weeks at a time until I was convinced it was merely a placebo.
I don't mean to argue further, but it is known in most mod sites that all it does is disable moving while aiming and make you feel like you're able to shoot earlier, even though it's really the same... and there's no delay at all between regular ranged attacks in either of the videos, as it should be.
If it really does something for your client that I can't reproduce with mine, then all the more reason for you to keep using the mod but in my case and presumably others it would just be nerfing a racial trait.

In my experiences, such as picking off stragglers rafting, zero shotting, etc. its perfect. With the moving while aiming(without mod), at times it's actually made me perform worse because my character wouldn't stop running when I tried to shoot, thus making me either shoot at 50% or get hit. Meh, I guess it works with different people.

Wait, err i think i may have termed this differenlty, i meant the elf range lag where it locks you into the aiming position and won't shoot the arrows even if you clicked inifinity times and instead fires on based on the server's mood swings

What people term as "elf lag" isn't fixed. If you believe it to be true or not that it's actually there is up to you.

Screenshot mode temporarily removes elf lag and tower cylinder lag, of course the image is set so it's only good if you plan to stay in one place.

I really don't understand how people don't believe in elf lag :/ either i'm wording it weird or people have never had an elf stay at 99% aiming meter and not shoot for 5 seconds, getting mauled in the process. btw yes i am clicking at 100 apm in order to not die, and nothing else lags for me.

You're probably playing with auto combat on then. o.o

I still have server sided lag, and sometimes when you step shoot at 50%, it delays quite a bit..
