So thanks to this double rainbow event, I'm able to either rank Fireball from D to 1, or Blaze from B to 1.
I tried looking for videos + research, and I simply cannot decide which one would be more helpful. I usually solo things (melee), but I want something that can be used for higher damage in team runs (besides the fact that both give str too).
So now is up to you to convey your opinion and try to sway me to either one of the skills (please? lol)

Blaze, honestly. It's more versatile.

Blaze since you want the str..

Idk why people want blaze >.> Now that there is fire mastery, fireball basically surpasses blaze. Go to guides section and look for Zyrus' new mage guide. Then youll see why FB comes first...

Well he said he's MELEE and wants STR so imo Blaze would be better option.

My vote goes to blaze. As far as I know it's stronger as well as more versatile and easier to combo with.

Umm, just to clarify, BOTH of them give str, and FB gives 1 more str than Blaze does *R1 Blaze = 7 str, R1 FB = 8*
And I'm planning on getting both. The question is, that Blaze is capped at rank 1 Magic mastery and 600 int (after that, no more damage).
I wish to know how far can Fireball go (although I really understand the extreme versatility of IS + Blaze) in terms of one big nuke.
Ill read that guide later tonight, thank you for posting that Purr.

Fireball is more useful, in my opinion. The range and damage are great enough to OHKO or 2HKO massive groups of mobs safely. A speedcast pheonix fire wand significantly reduces your charge duration (3 seconds per charge, 15 seconds per cast) while fire mastery and the mana reduction set effect (alongside the intelligence bonus) can potentially net you upwards of 4500 damage while costing around 87.5-90 mana.
This is especially useful against mobs weak to fire.
Edit(1): Perhaps someone should validate this for NA Mabinogi but supposedly Support Shot affects the explosive damage that Blaze deals.

Magic got nerfed down completely. And using Blaze with an Ice Wand destroys its damage quite a bit more.
Fireball: Large mobs, extremely useful in stage missions like those Snow Trolls, which are weak to fire element. By using Fireball, you'd probably want to pre-charge it early or something, and then ask a teammates to hit the switch or whatever it does to make them spawn. Though, it can cause immense lag for certain people in this game as well. Your teammtes would have to either WM gaurd you or something, otherwise, precharging it works well enough. Sometimes, if you OHKO everything, your teammates will feel like they did nothing. D:
Blaze: Having to have you group up or naturally have a group of enemies bounded together quite tightly behind the enemy you are attacking for the explosion damage. Easier to rank and somewhat more MP and AP friendly imo, plus the damage for it is good and well worth the AP and Mana.
I think that Fireball is the most useful, due to the extremely wide attack radius it has, and being able to kill multiple enemies in one go is decent for that much Mana consumed.

Since it got nerfed hardcore I have barely used blaze. I now use fireball alot due to theatre missions weakness to it.
BTW what server are you on? If your on Alexina we need more fireballers so we can speed run fortibras HM.

Fireball hands down

I don't about AP friendly...it costs 37 more ap to rank, and the mp is 66 for a full charge and more stamina than a wm every 3 sec.

mmm, why?

Sorry, Tarlach Server.
I'm leaning more towards Fireball at this point, but it's kinda hard when I see someone doing 4-6k every 3 sec to mobs that are wm locked in Peaca Int

The first hit uses the players strength, so I'm guessing yes? It's the second part (magic) that deals the heavy stuff though.

Now, Fireball is a viable choice over Blaze.
Thank gawd, too.
I really didn't want to rank Blaze.
If you didn't quite get my suggestion, go for Fireball. :tea:
