Most people I've seen look for Cressida sets that emphasize one or two of the abilities. I'm interested in one that gets all three abilities enhanced. I imagine such a set is possible for each ability with one 2 and two 4's or one 4 and two 3's. I'm interested in a set that does the latter, so I only need to worry about each ability requiring just one 4 to get the effect. How much would a 3/3/4, 4/3/3 or 3/4/3 piece of gear generally cost for Cressida? Would the price differ depending on which piece it is?

The price would differ depending on which piece of the set it is, since the event that gave out a lot of them is over, you have to rely on the real methods of getting them.
And as for how much a piece with two 3s and a 4 would cost...
I'd imagine, quite a bit.
Cressida seems to be high-priced.

Ah, I now have a financial goal I can wrap my mind around. Not sure if Mari's price would be the same, per se, but it's good to have an idea what I'm in for. Thanks for the info. :3
Now I just have to weigh whether I'll go for Shock pages first or complete Cressida, lol.

Yeah each server will differ. Also depends on how stingy the seller is.. a lot of factors can go into it. Piece by piece might be cheaper than a set.
For a more accurate idea of how much you're looking at you might want to try your servers market board for a price check or post an order for one

Cressida wins in flame burst and life drain. RA wins in water and general abilities.

Ugh... so the suit itself will be the most troublesome cost-wise...
I suppose I ought to look for a 3/4/3 suit, a 4/3/4 pair of gloves, and a 3/3/3 pair of boots.
Also, I'm well aware of the RA is still superior in most things tidbit. Until I get there, though, I'd like a little something to fall back on, especially since, ironically, Life Drain, Water Cannon and Flame Burst have been my highest-ranked offensive alc abilities for some time now (LD r1, WC rA, and FB rB).

Considering flamer is the only alchemy I find powerful and used properly by my comrades, I'd say this set is a must-have (at least for the flamer part) for any strong alchemist. It's worth it if you're a perfectionist ;)

Yeah, the flame burst 10% bonus damage is worth getting the suit over.
I don't see why no one talks about the life drain part, has anyone even did a damage test yet?

How much is the average knock back?
On mabinogi wiki it says it's a 900 knock back damage, 1.6k is a big jump for only 10% bonus.

Cressdia set is only better then ra if you have the max of all skills related to such. at lv 6XX it should not be a concern for you now. just try and get RA
