Got Gengar to level 100. I now need to get... well like 17 other pokemon to 100.
Alder was also immensely disappointing. No wonder N won, like half of Alder's team gets raped by Reshiram's Fusion Flare.

Though I hate how the trainer's Postgame levels spike up to 6x. It's like...WHAT DO IN 5X?!

I hate how they removed rechallenging trainers.
They did it right in the previous games. Being able to re-challenge random trainers, and gym leaders multiple times. Giving you access to gym leaders from previous games, and each time you fought them they got stronger. It was fantastic and gave plenty of replay value.
Now its just like:
"Boss has level 50 pokemon"
After boss "everyone has level 60 pokemon, and elite four has level 70 pokemons"
After that "just keep fighting cynthia, she's got 75's and thats it"

The good thing is that a good deal of the postgame trainers use terribly weak pokemon. Level 60? Oh snapz.
Oh wait, those are just level 60 magikarps and snubulls. gtfo.

I did not understand that at all. I find no reason for not being able to rebattle at least gym leaders. It improves the adventuring aspect of the game, saying "Oh hey, your rivals got stronger to try and beat you. Go and prove them wrong."
Not to mention, you can only fight Cynthia over and over in Spring. qq
Leveling walls is going to be hell.

Just got Pokemon White today with some scraped up cash.
It takes some getting used to, but.. it's nice. Just very fast paced. Almost at Gym numero 3.
I'm interested to see how this whole "We want to save poor pokemanz 'cause they're abused yet we also treat them like shet" thing plays out.
Not to mention N.. mmm. Me gusta.

Nothing happens. They just reappear in the back of the forest.

Doesn't work like that unfortunately. When you get a Pokemon in game, you give it 3 identification parameters on it; the trainer ID number, the secret ID number, and the trainer name. If one of them do not match the the values given to you by the save file, then the Pokemon is considered foreign and gets the boost. However, if you simply trade the Pokemon to another game and back, the values are still the same.
