  Smogon's just being outright ban happy since they don't really want to conform to Gen V's additions.

  and they fit well in top OU
  the cat never had trouble
  
  Lilligant and Reuniclus will never get banned

  In the sense that there are more things being considered to be banned this gen than before. I.e. ban all weather, auto-weather, Moody already being banned, Drizzle + Swift Swim already banned, and some other stuff still being considered.

  I know. If they were gonna ban it, why include it? Thats silly.
  
  If anything, they should've included an alternative version of pokemons/abilities/attacks setups for battling other players, kinda like how DFO rebalances all skills for competitive use in PVP.

  Auto-weather is still legal. It has been considered to be banned though, but I don't know how close it was.

  Well hopefully they won't ban it cause that would just be stupid. There's reasons why people come up with strategies to combat these types of things. Banning them isn't the answer. It provides a whole new level of strategy that wouldn't be in place otherwise.

  Only Drizzle and Swift Swim are banned
  and only if on the same team
  because all Swift Swimmers have Water STAB, and rain bonus
  so it's a free +2 damage boost and +2 speed boost
  
  The other weathers don't have pokemon that benefit as much as rain's

  My Victini had a blast at the Musical 8D He said mine was the most bizarre which is cool. Sweet I was the weirdest one! *does my weird jiggy dance* I love being weird :P
