Normal Damage

Additional Damage

The +water dmg in your guide should total 11 less.
Also you could get 7 more damage on your cylinder if you went with Moist prefix and 3 more crit upgrades. (this also give you 2 spare crit for less than perfect rolls)

personally, if I were going for Cressida, I'd go with round flaming on the head, (sacrificing the 7 damage gained from the cylinder). Use the extra crit, to replace the surprising with heated add on a synergy volcano (dmg upgrade) and steam shield, you'd have a nice +49 fire dmg along with +111 water dmg and max crit.
or if you wanted to stick with the "max water damage" theme, go for with round flaming on the head, and replace the surprising with transparent. Giving a nice +129 water damage with max crit, without title.

Other than that, this is the best crit+dmg setup for Water Cannon.

If you dont want moist on your cylinder...
Keep the lizard, make upgrades 0~2 + crit and dmg for 3~4, go with round flaming on the head and transparent in place of surprised on the accessories. You drop 5 dmg from upgrades, 7 from the head for a total 12 down... but, pick up 18 water damage on the accessories... for a net gain of +6 water damage and +3 crit to hedge non-perfect rolls on enchants. Easing in a nice +117 water dmg without title.

Like I said, this is an optimized set, for both crit, damage, cost effectiveness, and attainability. Good points with the fire alchemy, however, irrelevant.
I chose a set that is moderately difficult to obtain, rather than impossible, and of which is cost effective to maintain. This is not a discussion to the ultimate in crit/wc damage set and I would ask you kindly leave it as such.
@omegatronic : your entire point hinges on flaming es, an es to my knowledge, as of yet has not been found on my server.

Okie then.
Put Elementalist on the gloves, Crit upgrade the cylinder from 0~2, and drop one of the surprisings for a transparent. +4 damage over what you have. Or is Elementalist not cost effective enough after having to get that prefix for your clothes?
Other points I made:
You have the wrong total for your water damage.
Chain Casting Master title gives a higher damage per second than Royal Alchemist Title.
Edit: All that being said. I love your post, and the knowledge that a water cannonist can acquire 120% crit without sacrificing a great deal of + Water Damage.
Edit2: Oh, and Cressida's effect is 15%.
