Wooden Needle on Shields?

  While most things on the wiki are kept up pretty good, the enchant and dropped from pages are horrid. Some enchants come from several (like 10+) different shadow missions, but are only listed as coming from one mission, or none at all.
  Generally, when it comes to enchants, it's best only to rely on their effects and just ask the community for where to get it. At least that's what I do.
  
  Also, I have an Adamant (rank 8 prefix) Round Shield, so if anybody really wants to test it for solid proof they can just bring me a Wooden Needle enchant.
  
  I'm pretty certain it doesn't work though.

  Yeah, wiki's lack of upkeep on enchants are why I feel so compelled to test it myself. Buuuut... assuming japanese wiki is kept up a little better, I went and decided to do some looking there, and they happen to have a note specifically concerning what is wooden. Which when spit out by google translate looks like this:

  Which if I'm interpreting correctly, says all bows except short bow, and various wooden stick things work, as well as wood plate cannon, but definitely not glasses, any shield, or even a wooden table o.e
  
  Well... I guess that's solid enough an answer for me. :x

  Avenger is a no-step suffix which gives a constant 12 Max (+8 more when pot poisoned and +10 crit when deadly). It's a much better suffix for Heavy Armor. Darkness is only 5-15 variable damage, and you lose 3 defense which kind of destroys the purpose of using heavy armor.
  While you don't have to settle for the best, I don't see why you'd go through the hassle of step enchanting a more expensive and less potent enchant. Exploding is the only reason, but most people I've seen have been using Light Melkas which come as cheap as possible.

  I found Darkness during G2 and it was almost able to be used.
  People scrambled for falcon and golem enchants and then darkness expired.
  First ever armor ive seen was Late G2? Maybe Early G3...
