Oh, I forgot to updated this guide for G13/G14 :P. I'll get around to changing the Shield Suffix to Professor asap.

Hey OP, why don't you add final damage and notes on this thing of yours? You're usually good at figuring out what the final numbers will be in whatever guide you've got, so why not this one? It's been months, you know.

Shucks, I've been lazy for that part xD. Last I remember, I didn't know how to calculate magic damage, and there are so many skills and multipliers. Heck, I'd be grateful if someone did all the calculations for me.

Very nice guide! Only one thing (sorry), I don't think you should include the prices and costs since the economy has a tendency to fluctuate.

Very good point, I just put it in there as a placeholder (to show that as enchants add more bonuses, the cost goes up).

Some points I'd like to mention:
Rank 1 Windmill isn't necessary for a mage. At minimum, you'd want r9 for a getawayfromme move (WM + Thunder, anyone?), and for Deadly in the event you use a Staff. Getting rank 1 is entirely personal preference. Personally, I never really use Windmill.
Also, you should probably mention that you can go with a BBF + Magic School Uni + Karis Shoes + Bone Marine Gaunt equipment combo for a cheap Mana Reduct set, as well as a bonus of Explosion Resistance which is situationally useful. To be entirely honest, using the Karis suit is bad if you're going for multiple set effects (unless you're using enchants for part of the mana reduct, as in a Hebona + Mana Reduct set).
As others have said, ranking Icebolt early may be convenient, but Ice Mastery (and for that matter, the other elemental masteries) is definitely not necessary that soon. Firebolt or Lightningbolt may prove more useful for beginners, as they output more damage.
Ranking Bolt Fusion is really not a high priority at all, unless you plan on going as a bolt mage. Why? It has a high AP cost and has little return. Putting your AP into Intermediate/Advanced spells would be more rewarding.
Also, under Life Skills, you're forgetting Composition.
You may also want to mention the pros and cons of each side of Demigod (since you address trans) for a mage. In my personal opinion, pure mages benefit more from Morrighan than Neamhain. Why? In a pinch, Eclipse will open up the opportunity for a mage to regain control of a situation. In normal situations, Fury of Light will cause an aggro situation that frankly isn't suited for a mage's kind of AoE (Mages optimally handle linear or distanced AoEs as opposed to AoEs centered on the player). Rage provides decent damage, no chance of missing, and the ability to damage invincible monsters, which is convenient. The alternative, Spear, is designed for raw damage output, which is what the Mage should be doing without Demigod. Also, Spear gets most of its damage through Brionac, which is honestly a waste of inventory space for a mage, whereas it might not be so much of one for say, a meleer.
Anyway, that's my input.
