What are you even going to do with that much money? Gold doesn't have much value in Mab, it's not like most other MMOs where you need good equips. I don't think it's worth spending rl money on Mab money. Not to mention that gold sells ruin every game they touch.
You need money for... Everything... xD Combat = Repairs,Enchanted Stuff / Life Skills = Materials,Repairs / Magic = Pots,Repairs / Alchemy = Crystals / Fashion = Clothes
but yea buying gold is just wrong :o

It'll benefit merchants in the long run.
If prices drop low enough, we already have tons of gold from when things cost more. So we buy everything and now we decide the prices for the future when bots make a come back, because we all know bots can't be stopped unless in a system like KR Mabi.

What do the koreans do against the almighty bots?
-
Osayidan wrote on 2010-05-25 18:03
They require a KSSN to register an account. Meaning only korean citizens would be able to operate bots, and even then only one per person, and at the risk of loosing the account, and never having a new one.
It would be like nexon NA requiring social security number to sign up, something I don't think they're allowed to do. I know in Canada people can't do that.

There are rumours of one of the major bot companies pulling out of the entire game here.
People said it was announced on their main website.
I wonder why.

You can get into legal trouble for using a fake one. It's considered fraud or something along those lines.

So wait, how does this whole "Now that you contact these gold sellers you're now unable to contact them every again" thing works? I haven't seen deflation hit at all in Mari.

They run the number through a database now, and even if you pass that you'd still need to give them your phone number or mail in for verification.

We have smaller population so a smaller base of people to generate server gold. The amount of gold buyers verses normal legit players is too high on our server. On your server I suspect that ratio is much more balanced. Which is why you havent seen anything. Ask several of your r1 blacksmiths, tailors, high rank synthers, rare page/item farmers about the offers they have been getting or Lack therof.

I don't laugh and I'm amazed at this situation.
I say it's actually a great opportunity to look into new areas to making gold. You can't always rely on the old, because changes in Mabi can sometimes be unpredictable. (e.g. holy water price inflation here, and some new rumours, and I can't predict what's going to happen after this, so I have to hold back some of my holy water supply until prices stabilise to something reasonable for most players)
Keep your rares until they are worth more, unless you have plenty of supply and can afford to reduce prices. Find out what people are still buying. Since you're into the enchant business, see if people are still buying burns or so and what bridging enchants they usually go for and look into it.

Meh that only proofs that there is a higher % of players in Alexina that don't play fair! xD
