That explains a lot. Someone on Ruairi who used to boast about how much gold he bought recently started cutting prices...this might be related.

I didn't even think people bought gold from farmers this often. It didn't seem to affect Bearlach much at all from what I've noticed...

Tarlach got hit hardest by gold duping, that might be why.

Kinda pissed that I decided to upgrade my gear 2 weeks ago instead of.. right about now.

Doesn't look like ruairi is affected much. Prices look the same to me now as they did when I returned a couple weeks ago.

It may even be the opposite depending on the item, if people know in advance what they will need (if it's available before the update).

Quote from Saani;43784:
Lol, sad thing is, even though I've never bought gold from a bot, I know almost all of the sites they sell off of. >:
...Says the Gacha-spammer >:O
In any case, I'm pretty happy with this result. Gold bots are not meant to exist in the first place, and I hated all the high prices in Tarlach.
Now what would REALLY make me laugh is if Nexon made dyes untradable (you probably remember my thread about it =3)
In conclusion, people who are too lazy to get off their arse to even do farming for gold shouldn't have the benefit of buying their way through the game. Dye-selling is the same. for about a dollar, they can make ~100k? that's just not right. Gachapon, probably a bit different since you're dealing with luck. But there's always someone who gets lucky. Right Saani?

Maybe it's just me but I haven't noticed deflation at all? In fact most people are talking about inflation in rory. Maybe I don't deal in the correct market or something.

Sadly Gold buying has always been more efficient than actually using gachapon.
A friend bought 100 gachapons with his actual hard earned cash.
If he would have bought gold with that...
Heh...
Buying gold to those players is the same as buying gacha.
Cept it bypasses luck completely.
