  My guess was right. Wow. I only watched like 3 episodes of Eva in tv (looked pretty good to me), but I hated that guy. I remember this episode about him coming back (he had left for some reason) to the organization HQ and begging them to let him come back. They refused and a monster thing appeared (what a coincidence....). He saved the day and everything was okay...
  
  Regarding Mirai Nikki:

I've never seen normal school girls chopping full grown adults with one swing of a cleaver...and will never do (probably...) Did she have special powers for winning the previous contests or something? [/SPOILER]

  Uhh.. I don't know, I think its just one of these "only happens in manga/anime" moments.
  
  Since it really was an axe, it does make a bit of sense for her to cut people up like nothing. But she really was very skilled in combat in general, I mean, if you were to compare her to to the other participants she not only was strong, but had malice in most of her plans.
  
  Her strength really is measured by Akise, though. Cause she lost to him in combat twice, both physical and mentally. So I think this kinda balances everything.
  
  Also the fact that she had already participated in a survival game, though I doubt she got any special powers because of that.

  [SPOILER="Spoiler"]The axe thing kinda makes sense, but it wouldn't be possible for a girl with those arms to cut through people. There's not much facts for me to base this on, so other manga will have to suffice. Even in war-centered manga (Vinland saga for example) normal soldiers (grown men) are only able to injure each other, only the stronger looking ones with big muscles are able to cut, or rip, others in half. I would totally buy it if, say, she kills them, but the axe gets stuck in their body. Cutting them in half with no muscles/powers/main character powahz though? I'm no buying it. D:[/SPOILER]

  Still I think its a pretty nice manga, and I hope the anime gets a very good adaptation as well. I just sort of gotta get used to the voices (besides DEUSX with fabulous Wakamoto's voice ♥), cause they aren't so close to what I imagined, at all. =w=

  Besides that, I don't think I'll watch it. I liked some parts of the manga, but not all that much as to watch the anime too. I hope Yuki has a really girly voice though. Muahahahaha.
  
  Poor dude. I sometimes wonder why Deus made him gay and then let him be beheaded without at least getting it on with Yuki (he deserves some back pain >_>).[/SPOILER]

  The great thing about this series is that from the MC's perspective, everyone on his side is still an antagonist.
  
  Yuno plays the roll strongest, but its because of this predictability that eye patch lady is far superior and more interesting. You never know what she's going to do next, and every time she does something I can't help but root for her success.
