Ask yourself this question: "What do I want to do with my life?"
Then start from there.
What is that you want to do anyway? Let's start planning it right here in this thread.

If you can, try avoiding tasks where you feel like completing them bares no beneficial consequences. Nothing feels worse than feeling like the things your doing are of no worth. If it weren't for my personality which requires me to finish all my work as soon as I get it regardless of the due date, then I'd probably be procrastinating the hell out of all my college work. Heck, I've even though of just leaving and focusing my efforts on pushing my business forward since college eats up WAY too much of my time. I use to be very stringent when it came to getting good grades (always aiming for straight A's) but now I just feel like the extra effort just isn't worth it anymore.

I want to promote world peace by governing over every country on the planet as a living god immortalized by advanced technology and undefeatable by superior weapons.
No seriously.
But theres a slightly lower standard dream and that is to just live a quiet life, start a small family, and call it a day. Nothing too ambitious there.

Well the first step is to finish college. Have you re-applied?

Why not try working with the disadvantaged, to see how privileged you are in comparison. Find a person who is unexemplary, so when you're about to do something you'll regret, keep telling yourself, "don't be that guy".

Post your to-do list here.
We'll bug you constantly if it's not done.

I'm already accepted. I start in September.
I'm working until then. Might actually work all the way throughout college as well since my parents aren't helping and I need some spending money.

Maybe I should. I'll form the list and start a thread and see if I can't complete a schedule to do it in.

I've been through this. :( I think that the only way to get out of this hole is to grab onto something meaningful in your life. And as much as you may hate your job, I think that that job will in fact be what pulls you out of this mess. As cheesy as it may sound, by going to work and becoming a part of society, you become a man--no longer some kid who just sits in front of his computer and plays games. Work may be tiring and annoying, but it keeps you on track. So just keep working there, and work hard. I think it'll help change you for the better.
Another thing is health. And no, it's not even about exercise. It's about proper sleeping habits. People tend to be most productive in the morning, but many choose to stay awake late at night because they are losers and then sleep in late. :| I've been guilty of this. Work still saves me, but this kind of habit still makes me far less productive than I'd like to be.

oh.. I'm sorry, Kitae. :< for you know what.
it's times like these that I stop and think, it's never too late to better yourself. Never is there no hope. Never. So many young adults forget this and end up spiralling into depression.
The motivation comes from within, when you stop and realize, I am better than this. I HAVE the potential. I might have fallen countless times before, but I will keep standing up. You are more than able bodied and have a sound, intelligent mind, so there is absolutely nothing standing in your way other than yourself. You really are a lucky man, even though you do not feel that way.
If you find it hard, then find a friend to do it with you. Everything changes when you become accountable for showing up to whatever you're trying to do, which is why something like an exercising buddy increases your success rate by a ridiculous amount.
I'm willing to help you along. So would anyone here. You're not alone.

Yes, Kitae! You can do it.
My Mom recently graduated from college and got her Bachelor's and she's like 40 something. You too can do it!

Its not your fault.
Okay, so a part of it stems from that.
But no, its more of a culmination of everything thats been wrong the past few years that I really been trying to take lightly but finally caved in on.

Yeah.. I kind of figured, but felt obligated to apologize anyways.
We'll always be here for you, broski!
Might as well start now :D
