I personally don't plan to level my karok up above level 10 just because I hate playing male characters when I'm a girl. But I love being in a party with them. With all of these new Karok's around I'm taking the opportunity to level up my fiona(finally).

Bored at level 24.
His non-grapple moves lack any sort of style, so fighting monsters isn't nearly as fun as it is when you're a Fiona swinging bodies everywhere or a Lann skidding across the room. He's just way too bland.
His throws are cool but those aren't really efficient to use, and his mob-clearing throw sucks. Also, Boss Bash gets old fast and would sometimes glitch out so that my Karok would start punching something that isn't even there.

What I do to make it a little better is to use LLR a lot with a dropkick at the end, and roll a lot. Kinda makes it a little funner imo, but maybe that's just me.

I love drop kick combo, it was easy for me to combo around the boss and avoiding their heavy attack with dropkick at the same time damaging them <3
But my Karok seems to be having trouble lifting heavy objects at his lvl atm, and didnt dropkick have the power to launch enemy? affected by str?

Yeah, the dropkick combo is easy to time for shock absorb as well. As to launching enemies, I'm not sure. Most mobs just die and fall when I dropkick.
Also, I noticed that mine had trouble lifting items at first. Now though, I don't really have much of a problem.

It's directly related to Strength. Karok's damage just seems higher as his smash precentiles are higher (as far as I know) + the general difficulty decrease.

Karok looks ugly -_-
His default log looks so fake :P
Combat wise he's OP atm.
gameplay wise he's lagging the game.
All in all, I will give more detailed impression after people stop cloging the server with Karoks, cause I ain't logging on until they do.

Somewhat off topic as well, but saw this today.

Sadly they probably Hidden farmed to get there and honestly they weren't that good. Was a shame as I was looking fowards to seeing some high leveled Karok play.

The problem with those, they don't have the AP to back up their level, so they will be weaker and worse than those who get there slowly, since they still haven't had time to completely learn their character.

Well I just got back from a trip and then my computer died so I'm only at level 14 but he seems really fun so far. Clash is a nice skill but it doesn't seem like you can use it on very many monsters (I thought it would work on any smash attack D:). Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting into the higher boats and seeing what he can really do.

hey i'm having some trouble with the absorb shock! I mean, why it activates itself only when i use dropkick or the 2nd combo? e.e

Karok is anything but slow. His mobility is possibly the best in the game, as you can cancel and combo-cancel ANYTHING, and have absorb shock to back you up if you do it wrong. I think a lot of people are playing it the 'tank' way, which IMO is not using him to his fully potential, at all.
Absorb shock isn't nearly as necessary as I'm hearing, mostly because Karok rarely gets hit in the first place. That is, play him like a Fiona, and use absorb shock as you do heavy stander. He's much safer than a Fiona though, and anyone else for that matter. He has tons and tons of invinci-frames (boss bash, any grab, etc.).
This will sound ridiculous to most, however I feel he actually needs to get slower than he is currently. Not necessarily pillar swing speed, but definitely move speed and unarmed.

btw I dont understand the Pillar Charge's [stamina reduction] does this mean I dont use as much stamina when running or does the skill eat alot of stamina when it activates starting at rankF?

Mines only level 15, but I'm loving the Boss Bash and Clash skills.
