EP. 9 Armor and Weapon Info

  I forget how balance works in Vindi. I believe it means you can only hit within the % of your Balance.
  Meaning unless 500 is >14%, Rak would be better. But I am not sure how Balance factors into damage calculations, so it'd be best if someone who knew better told us.

  You lose a sizeable ammount of Def from this, and something like 18 Crit Resistance. You do gain Strength and Willpower though, and I'm seriously considering this upgrade as the +25 Stamina is the ability to HS another hit.

  Lower balance means bigger damage range. Having 50 balance means you'll hit anywhere from 50% - 100% of your max damage.

  Still, I think the huge hits to Balance hurts these weapons in DPS more then anything.

  It's a trade off. Chances are if you crit you'll most likely hit more than the other weapon's low end damage. New scythes blow though

  Not quite. Mabi's balance stat sets your average damage to that percent within your damage range. If you have 80% balance while using a weapon with 50-100 damage, you will do 90-100 damage half of the time, and 50-90 damage the other half of the time. Since the scale between 90 and 100 is so small on such a distribution, you're very likely to hit close to 90. Knowing this, Mabi's balance could be considered a weight determinant.
  
  In Vindictus, weapons don't come with such damage ranges. Instead, balance acts as the absolute minimum you can hit and is applied to the end of the damage formula, after ATT/M.ATT, enemy DEF, etc., have been accounted for.
  
  More on-topic: I'm not quite sure how to feel about that Evie set, but so far, the sequins and the hat are a bit off-putting.

  The armor does look ugly with the huge shields on the hands, not like we can us'em to block shizz.... I'm still getting the set, buh imma sell the gloves after. Also it is better to stay with braid tassel spears, the new ep.9 spears aren't worth it :\ and they also look like a lvl 35 sword
