So what would be better then?
a lose of 500 m attack for a gain of 14% on a rakark scythe
Or a lose of 14% balance for a gain of 500 m attack on the ep 9 scythe
Id do it my self but i have no idea how to calculate average damage

Take the formula from there.
Use a dummy DEF amount of 0.
Keep your final answer, but also multiply it by the balance of both weapons. That's your range.
Take the midpoint of both ranges and you have your average.
Including critical hits is trickier though.

Including critical would be, in the long term, a DPS multiplier. It would essentially be just how much crit % you have against how much crit resist any enemy has.
Balance isn't as easy to figure out as it may seem, since you see no range and only have solid numbers to multiply against.

How would i take mid points o.o
Critical I do not understand what your saying
But i might be able to not count it due to the fact its only 1 -/+ critical for either scythe
Just using a few blunt numbers
Used bloody thread as it has no mastery modifiers for ease
Assumed extra damage as 0 since its not fully confirmed
Using 11500 and 11900 respectively
got 12648 for rakrak
got 10368 for new ep 9 scythe
These are just the damages from the magic damage fourmla using bloody thread with 0 def and counting balance as a simple decimal multiplier

Midpoint is just
(High + low) / 2
So if the max damage is 1000 and your balance is 70 then the low is 700. Midpoint is (1000 + 700)/2 or 850

Weapons look very nice, Lann's armor reminds me of something sci-fi
Everything looks all divine-like in this update xD (could also be the colors, but you heard golem bgm?)

The Spears are pretty eh looking. Also, why does devCat feel the need to stick -9 attack speed on Spears? :\
That Scythe though, that looks amazing! Do want. +w+
