Since dungeons (the most awesome thing ever) have been eclipsed by shadow missions, I propose that dungeons be revamped in the following manner so as to fill the dungeon lobbies with milletians once again.
1) Dungeons should have an end reward like shadow missions and theater missions. A logical corollary to this would be to have a daily for dungeons.
2) Hard mode for every dungeon
3) Greater variety of rooms in dungeons instead of the same boring square rooms over and over again.
4) Passes last for ever (until they are used of course). Either that, or the difficulty of dungeons can be selected in the same way shadow mission difficulty is selected.
5) Fewer boring corridors.
6) More dragons, that way, we can have Dungeons & Dragons!!!

How about TRIANGLE rooms! How exciting! And while they're at it- CIRCLES might be an interesting addition!
But in all seriousness, I agree with you. The only time I ever do dungeons is when I'm doing Generational quests. They definitely need some spice.

I guess you never really finished one. Weird as it seems, there's a chest at the end.
You probably meant exp reward.
2) Hard mode for every dungeon
Most of them do, and its still not as useful (in terms of exp) as SMs
3) Greater variety of rooms in dungeons instead of the same boring square rooms over and over again.
Well... Yea, that would be nice. Not that it matters that much, Shadow Missions are all the same and everybody always does them.
4) Passes last for ever (until they are used of course). Either that, or the difficulty of dungeons can be selected in the same way shadow mission difficulty is selected.
Idk, I like how we need to actually HUNT for certain passes for harder dungeons. Its as if you had to level your character to enter a more advanced shadow mission. I would like the expire time to be taken off, though.
5) Fewer boring corridors.
Isn't much of a problem with pets. Unless you're on Math or something.
But its not like all of them are like this.
6) More dragons, that way, we can have Dungeons & Dragons!!!

This is the reason why I quit mabinogi.
Friggin shadow missions took over... They are not really challenging nor fun.

1. Daily dungeons
2. More interesting dungeon rooms
3. Reduce the length of certain dungeons (Math Adv. DEAR GOD)
4. Implement a completion reward (shadow missions/theater missions/etc) which changes based on a dungeons' popularity
5. Your poll has too many options. It's useless for feedback right now.
6. ThatNerf, I like your signature. Is that Windmill?

I think it's also good to add not ALL of the best rewards go to one chest, while everyone else gets gold. ;D

I like that they have no time limit, so you can take your time, die as many times as you want, and still finish it. Although internet connections can be a major problem here (mine turns off so many times per hour x_x).

that's the EXACT reason why i prefer dungeons over shadow missions
if you die you're screwed unless someone has a nao or can get advanced feather (well unless in TNN or something) and advanced feathers are annoying to get. i hate spam messaging people if i'm in like say an advanced mission and close to/at the boss and everyones dead.. o.e;;

I don't know; I can still find quite a few people in dungeons...well, at least Ciar. However, I do agree with the pass time limits. I wish those would be taken off...
Sometimes, I can't find people who would want to run it until way later. With being able to choose your difficulty: I don't know. Having to hunt for it, like Meiji said, can be nice, but sometimes it takes too long...

@ Zlatka Please don't say
TNN. But yes, it really is amazing when you can die 100 times and still get your reward (gold instead of that amazing Dustin Helm lol) at the end. Heck, I still remember when I soloed Barri Advanced when I was like level 100 total. Lots of play dead and suicide pet bombers did it for me. 8D
This reminds me to post something about Play dead. hur hur hur

I almost never run dungeons... they take much more time to complete than sm's when compared to the the rewards. Just not worth it unless you're hunting a specific item that can only be obtained inside a dungeon. And what just makes it more frustrating, is when on top of doing something that is less rewarding, you have to spend even more time hunting for a pass to said dungeon.

Hence why the OP created this thread.
Dungeons need a revamp.
