Sometimes I wonder. I mean, I know there's freedom of speech and all and it's the 21st Century and all, but it seems like in every game that I play, there's always people talking about sex and pretending to be in some BDSM film in the chat.
Why do people do that all the time? In games no less? Does anyone else get a little irritated by this?
Also, sorry if this topic sounds rushed. I am in a bit of a hurry.

you wouldn't be able to say all of that crap in real life unless it was a bro, why not just say it on the interwebs

^ That's true. Most people say that stuff on the internet just because they can and they can get away with it. Well... unless that 14 year old girl in the chat room is really a cop in disguise...

It's because on the internet you're given anonymity and acting like a huge idiot gets a big response.

Why does this thread have to pertain to only the internet?

when you take away what makes us human and strip us down to a bunch of numbers and relinquish responsibilities for our actions, some real bad sht goes down. Corruption, selfishness, dickery, the whole shebang.
this applies in real life, and nexon forums are a good example ಠ_à²
they don't even have avatars ffs.

Because the reasons are sometimes different for both. For the Internet, the main reason might be anonymity, while for real life, it might be the inability to read the situation.

Sex is never inappropriate. Simple.
I don't think I've ever seen BDSM sex chat. Do you mean spanking or something?
Maybe it's something about the American community perhaps, all this enforced public prudery surely takes its toll on the population, particularly the youth.

That does make me wonder what it would be like if people talked about sex out in public all the time.
Also, why do people get jealous of other's past sexual experiences?
From some of your posts, I begin to grow curious about your thoughts on these things.

Jealousy sometimes(?) stems from insecurity, and hearing about sexual experiences usually brings up the thought of "That person had some, and I don't. Society looks favorably on them, maybe because of how attractive they are. What does that make me in society's eyes?"
