Start from the very beginning.
Me:
When I was younger than Rahann, my internet screen name was Coconacarie, but I forgot all the passwords associated to accounts with that name, so I needed to make up a new one. At first, they were just variations in the spelling, so that it was still the same name, but I could never remember, so I eventually needed a brand new name all together. (Besides, I don't think anyone pronounced it right in the first place.)
While on the search for a new name, I tried all sorts of different things, but most of them made me feel extremely lame. I decided that I didn't want my name to have any of the following: wolf, dark, night, shadow, lone, link, blade, any numbers, any special characters. ("xXDarkwolflink_2020Xx")
Along the way, I saw a post by someone named "whyclownscry". Aside from misreading it the first time, it really struck me as memorable, so I decided I wanted my name to be modeled the same way. Why (noun) (verb).
Then it took ages for me to find out what I wanted the last two words to be. My first choice actually was "Rain", but at the time, I had put "Rain" on my list of words I didn't want to have, since so many people already were called Rain. Eventually though, I stopped caring about what other people thought, and I became Whyrainfalls. That was a long long time ago.
Now your turn.

A long long time ago, I used to be ManaSnake.
It all happened one christmas day. I got 2 games from Santa Claus that christmas. They were... Metal Gear Portable Ops... and Children of Mana.
On that same day, I tried to make an account, and I was thinking of names. So I put those two together... and from there was born manasnake!
But then I used that character for some 2 years on MS. Quit MS, went to Mabi. Quit Mabi cause of no rebirths, then came back cause of free rebirths. I wanted a new name, and I just took the 1 Z out of Blizzaga(Level 3 ice spell in Final Fantasy series) and that is how Blizaga came to be.

Way back in the day, I used to just use a word and my initials or something, so it was like PandaET or something. Stopped using that though when I started playing newer games though, and when I figured out having the same username for everything was pretty boring.
After that I used Merciful once for Mabi and Guru 'cause I felt like it. After that I used Merci maybe once or twice for random stuffs.
Then we move onto the present where I just use random words/names.

My first real internet IGN was Joel17. (17 was my favorite number. Still is.)
I was part of the Nsider Nintendo Forums (my first forums, which are now dead) and I would RP as a Pokemon Trainer in a Pokemon team. I was like 13.
Eventually, I changed my screen name there to GroudonSage, since they didn't want people to use personal information as their forum names, for privacy purposes. (It was an official Nintendo forum.) That may explain my love for the Pokemon Groudon.
I carried this name for many other forums. Serebii, Smogon... I used to be a huge Pokemon geek, so I would join all those forums. I never was fond of any of them though.
I eventually began growing up and I stopped being so crazy about Pokemon (I still am, but not like before). I went to high school too and made lots of new friends with new inside jokes. Phunkie Spiece was one of those inside jokes.
We imagined one day that there was a "lost" Spice Girl named Funky Spice, but we wanted to make her name really original, so I added the Ph and the e into the name, resulting into Phunkie Spiece (still pronounced funky spice).
I began using that everywhere after that. facebook.com/phunkiespiece links to my actual FB too.
Time continued and I just shortened the name to Phunkie, which was cute and funny and heck, I stuck with it. I tend to use that everywhere now.
And for lol purposes, I've changed my name here a few times. Never actual names that I'd use elsewhere, but I've gone from Phunkie to Preciouz to ChickenPoop to now Phigga.
Phigga resulted from Swigger Money, if you don't know already, which also gave birth to the Phigga head which I tend to paste everywhere.
And that's me.
Or... you can just call me Joel. :XD:

First: KitaeK27
Kept it well up until now.
Why: kitae, kang, 27. No particular reason for 27, I just picked a number I liked.
And it has nothing to do with this, despite everyone asking.

And then came Cucurbita, latin for gourd fruits, in my recent love for Halloween pumpkin carvings.

when I was also younger or as young as Rahann, I was a bit of a derp and was obsessed with japanese sounding names, and would play Astonia II as Hanaku. But it was a P2P game that gave a free months trial, so I made a new char every month, adding creative(LOLOLOLOL) variations because old names were always being taken (x_hanaku_x, hanakux, xXhanakuXx, etc). After a few years I grew some more neurons and ditched that and adopted the name Amore, and then Adelaide (It has eda twice in it!). I then met Jon who called himself Papa for some reason (puerto rican thing?) And so to match I adopted the screen name Mama at his request. In games, I'd add Mrs and La and other things in case someone else took the name.
I don't mind the name now despite the connotations, because I have a communal personality to begin with.

I used a really nifty trick I found on some forum that was to take a word, and mix/match letter to form a new word. At the time I was playing a game and the class I wanted was Mechanic so after removing some letter it gave Manac but then I wanted to make a new character and it went like
Manac > Mannac > Canam > Kanam because K are cooler than C or something.
As for the other name I use in games Reyval/Rayval I guess I was looking for a new name and I thought back to Ar Tonelico's Reyvateil.

Way back in the day, I loved Gaia Online. My first name was Akatsuki-sempai, because I was a Narutard and obsessed with Japanese things. Then I was a Bleachtard and changed it to Arrancar-senpai. Then I eventually broke that Japan phase, and wanted something to do with clouds/the sky. So I picked Skye of Clouds, which I was on Guru, and still am on the MabiWiki. Then when we moved to Nation, I shortened it to Skye because the name wasn't taken and everyone called me Skye anyway.
I also began to use variations of my real name for other things, like my tumblr and email address(es).
