I'm not sure if we're allowed to say this but... I think the users should be banned after getting 3 infractions...
I've seen certain users in Mabination who received 5 or more infractions and they haven't gotten banned yet or such.

Oh, then half of the Bean Rua regulars would be banned.
Oh well.
But yeah, some people who've racked up quite a few offenses aren't banned.
Maybe if you have a certain number of active infractions?
Or, if you look back and a person has 5 expired infractions within a certain amount of time...

I have only noticed a few threads from how inactive I am, and I approve!

We do have an automatic ban system in place, where you collect a certain amount of active infraction points (each infraction gives a different number of points, depending on the severity), or collect a total number of infractions (active and expired) before you are automatically banned. Of course, warnings don't receive any points, and most of the people get at least warned once before we hand out infractions, again, depending on how severe the rule breaking is in the post, where things that are more severe just get an instant infraction without a warning first, and quite possibly an instant ban.
And yes, we do miss some things, because the staff is only human and do miss things when they scan threads, so it is up to the rest of the community to report problems. Even if it doesn't look like it, the staff does take care of things when they get reported, often times privately instead of out in the public to prevent any collateral damage.

Sounds like a good policy, I approve.

So what constitutes 'severe'? If everybody else does it without getting warnings/infractions, then one person does it and they get an instant infraction?

An example:
Person A makes a sarcastic quip about Person B's intelligence, Person B doesn't like the comment and reports it, Staff Member A warns Person A to tone it down.
Person C directly calls Person D a dumbass, and Staff Member B sees it and infracts Person C.
Person E makes a rant thread about Person F, G, H, I, etc and the entire contents is nothing but just insults, attacks, derogatory comments and pictures to try and prove his point. Staff Member C then just hits the ban button and Person E goes bye-bye for a certain amount of time, depending on the factors of how active Person E was before getting banned (newer members are more likely to be banned for longer since we don't know if they only made the account to troll or not), the general personality of Person E (if Person E has been around for a while, and was always a good member until that thread was made, he will have a lesser punishment compared to if Person E was a person that tried to cause friction anywhere he went), as well as the general attitude of the thread itself, should there be no staff members online when the thread started and people posted in it. If Person E, even though normally calm and friendly, starts attacking everyone that posts, will be banned longer than if they just made the thread to vent, and then ignored it, or at least apologized for making the thread in a bit of rage.

Mmk.
Also, can all of the people who aren't staff or in the no-ads group have their custom colored usernames wiped? Semi-offtopic, but if those people get colored names then I want a colored name too, and I bet quite a few other people do too. I don't see what they did to get a purple title, and some staff even admitted that they were just playing around and seeing what they could do.

I think the purple title was an Event Helper title or something. :o

Yes, but the group was removed a while ago.
Also I don't recall some of the people with colored titles even being event helpers in the first place so that's kinda >_>...

No, the only people who should have a colored name are staff members and people who bought the no ad account upgrade.
Other colors are just people with colored names for whatever reason.

I have to agree with Claudia... I've seen some other users with hot pink usernames, and bright blue usernames as well. -want a pink username-

As far as I know, I took care of all members that didn't earn their name color, though I may have missed a couple of people. If you see anymore, just PM me, and I'll take care of it. (Just note that the one member with the hotpink name actually won that in an event that I can't seem to find).

Yeah, looks like you just got the ones that I had noticed.
Yay, staff!

You also took off Triggers color from the same event. I don't think he logs on much so everyone pretend it didn't happen.
