If you have an active infraction worth zero points, that means it's actually a warning, not an infraction.

I also recall being told that because everybody as a whole had gotten a warning, I was just getting an infraction.

All of your infractions have expired. Only 1 warning is still active and warnings aren't worth points.

Then if it's red and worth 0 points, that means it's expired. Still counts to your total infraction limit, but still let's you "get away" with more active infractions, if getting in trouble and putting you on the path to getting banned is what you call "getting away with it".
