Got Jury Duty today!

  Meh, never really want to have jury duty, especially since most trials that actually make it to court do end up getting settled outside of it anyways, so you're really just wasting your time. And that settling is more likely to happen since it's an injury trial instead of a criminal one.

  CA only pays you if you get accepted to a jury -.-.

  NY pays you for both the jury selection process and the jury service. :D
  
  But unlike you, they don't pay you for your service if your employer is still paying you for the days you're off work.
