Okay, so I'm going to start keeping my checks, so I don't deposit them and waste them.
I don't know a thing about computers, but I'd like to try and build one from scratch. I'm looking for something that can run Vindictus on high settings. If it can run that, I'm sure it can run most of the other game I'd want to play on this.
The Cheaper the better! THANKS IN ADVANCE. and yeah, sorry if I seem so needy or whatever. Like, if anyone wants add me on skype/MSN and we can discuss things there or something I don't know. I just want a better computer....

Anywhere between 500-1000. I don't think I could be patient enough to wait that long to raise 1000+

Check out this site. It's pretty good. I bought my computer from here for about 1300, and it's great. Only reason it wasn't super expensive was because of my graphics card.

Good gawd cat! Did you go to IT tech for computers or something? I may just have to use this myself.

no, the cat actually spent time on this.
more or less, this would be the cat's dream $1000 build
the cat just doesnt have $1000 (don't need a good computer atm, not enough games the cat wants to max)
the power supply was the most difficult because the cat doesnt know how much power the graphic card would draw at first
after all, a power supply is one of the most important.
Any better graphics card requires higher power usage
the cat recommends a fan though. 750W is a lot of power.
for the fan, the reviews said to watch youtube on how to install it because the paper instructions apparently suck

Well if the power supply doesn't have enough juice to support all those components then you're kind of dead in the water. Although the one you suggested seems like it would be more than enough to me.

>more than enough
not if he overclocks
which the psu leaves room for

Watch it, it helps.
Christian also if you didn't choose a case here's one that won't affect your budget much.

THankss!
Now, I'm assuming that if I build a computer from scratch it doesn't come with Vista or Windows 7 or anything like that...?

You'll have to buy the Operating system when your buying the parts.
I would recommend just getting the OEM Windows 7 Home 64 bit Edition: It goes for $99.99.

Also, do you need a monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, and any other accessories? The cat just put together a nice $1000 computer build, but if you need these other items too, they can add a bit more to the cost.
