  Then the builds posted here are WAY overkill for what you need. xd You can just avoid buying a graphics card altogether because Intel's GPU graphics are good enough for basic stuff like that. If an intense game that you want comes out later, you could buy a graphics card then.

  Usually I only play MMOs and such. I have a PS3 for anything hardcore really. I mean I have been buying games on steam recently, so I'd like to be able to run TF2 and L4D2 games on normal, if not high.
  
  I mean, I just want a computer that can run MOST games on normal settings.

  I don't think I'll be able to get the deal then. Like I said, I'll be working my ass off in the next couple of weeks, considering I can get the hours I really need right now.

  Note that this is still--except for the lack of USB 3, a "no-compromise" type of build. You could shave off a few bucks here and there by going with cheaper components, namely: i3-2100 (dual core) instead of i5-2500 (quad core), Caviar Blue instead of Black, and a cheaper case... if you want. xd

  Monitor: Dunno what size you want. O_o I'm not really an expert on monitors, either. You should be able to find something decent under $200 to fit into that $1k total budget, though.

  Thanks Yoorah, I have this thread bookmarked already. I'm going to decide on one of the builds that were given to me. Depending on how many hours I'm able to work, I'll choose one. If I can make enough money for a more expensive build that's what I'll do~
