  * The cases are virtually identical in external dimensions. Dunno how you figured it would have more room. The only space consideration that matters is how long of a card you can fit. For the 300 it's 11", dunno what the 100's max is. As far as I can see, there is no advantage here!
  * They also weigh virtually the same. Doesn't matter, either way. Some cases use aluminum construction, which is lighter. But it's also less durable and and worse at blocking noise. The 300 uses steel construction and I've done a quick search that showed some people saying the 300 is sturdier. I dunno if the 100 uses steel as well.. it probably does. In any case (no pun intended), heavier can often mean better!
  * Better cable management? You're right about this one, mainly due to the cable cutout near the PSU. Didn't notice that! But it's not a major thing either way. Both cases are decent in this regard.
  * Tray... it looks ugly imo. And you should not be holding drinks on top of a computer case. :( I like the 300's design more, but I guess that's a personal thing.

  And heat spreaders on RAM are purely a marketing gimmick designed to make you shell out a few bucks more. Many of those are often glued to the RAM with double sided tape. <_< They are only needed if you buy expensive, high-speed RAM.

  If you are sure that you will use the space, then go ahead. I wouldn't go higher than 1TB, as 2TB is less reliable.

  I don't mind spending a few extra bucks for a bigger Hard drive. After this computer, I don't see myself getting a new one for a whooole while so.
  
  This will be my personal computer, so I won't have to start from scratch every time my parents download things off of limewire >.>
  
  I've had to recover my computer one too many times cause of my parents.
