Anime convention in Montreal

  Otakuthon has been around for a while, I've been to 2009, 2010 and going to 2011. If you see a girl in black and purple Wa-lolita there, that might jsut be me.

  I don't even go to movies anymore. Although I'd probably only go to see what's being sold there, not really interested in any of the events.

  ah yea.. Touhou is quite popular around here.. Otakuthon has a few Touhou related events and a bunch of touhou cosplayer (75% of them are males sadly)

  Until I saw a poster for this one in the subway here I seriously thought there was no such thing as anime in montreal.
  All my time in school anime fans were rare too, and the only known convention within 1000 miles was anime north in toronto that no one wanted to travel for.
  
  Now that I have a life, I'm too busy to go even though it's no more than 20 minutes from my work.

  It's actually quite popular in Québec, both for french speaker and english speaker, but yea.. anime groups in schools are often Stealthy, back in my college, one of my friend compared our college anime club as an underground cult of fangirls(they once tried to turn him into a trap, sadly I wasn't there to see it)
  The anime club of Montmorency college is actually quite popular and often does events on fridays, I've been invited to it a few times by some of my friends and none of us even attent that college to begin with >.<
  
  Anyway, you work during entire weekends Osayidan?
