or some sort of religious ceremony.
When I was 6 years old my parents forced me to go to church.
If I didn't I would get privileges taken away and an ass whoopin'
but the funny thing is, my parents never went, they made me hop on my local baptist's church van every sunday and wednesday
and I hated going so ****ing much.
I stopped going when I was 12 when I was finally old enough to say
"Hey I have no toys for you to take away, you can't force me in my room, and guess what if you try spanking me I'll knock you out."
Haven't been back since. n_n

I remember going there in the past but I can't seem to remeber more than one case.. I might had gone there before that one case but I don't remember. Never been to it afterward either, that I am sure of it.
Overhere in Québec, people don't feel the need to go to church much. There is a bunch of believers but the Church isn't a requirement.

Yeah, grandma and my dad tried to make me go to the church several times. I'd usually decline.
But then, they'd get all angry and tried to lecture me on "jesus" and such. :l
Grandma always think when I bought Nexon cards, she think I'm playing violence games... I told her "...Mabinogi isn't a violence game, I can show you it if I have to. "

Yes, but I only remember once, in like elementary school. I cried because I didn't want to, but I had to.
It involved some confirmation bull**** I think.

Thanks to my Grandmother, yes. Neither of my parents were religious (ironically my Father was practically a satanist/someone who f*cked with black magic and my Mom was just spiritual). I fell asleep half way through until she smacked me upside the head with her purse. Little 5 year old me then proceeded to walk up to the priest at the end of the seminar and say "tell God if he wants me to come back he needs to stop sucking so f*ckin' badly" (this was during my cussing phase, mind you; thanks Father).
And I never had to come back again! Mainly 'cause they all labeled me as a child of satan.
Fun sh*t bro.

Just have to go on easter and x-mas other than that not too often. I have an interesting preacher though so I dont mind though and I go to a Unitarian church so service is really short and ideals are interesting and are not forced on you

Kinda, but the church I go to is cool, and since there's nothing but BS at home, I love to go.

Err'time i've ever been to church, it was for a religious event/ceremony.
Except for the one or two times when I was younger that I ever spent a Saturday night at a person's house and they took me to church. I think the oldest I ever was when that happened was 6 or 7.
My godparents would take me to church with them when I was a baby/toddler.

I think I was forced to go to my baptism when I was 4, but I hardly remember any of that. Oddly, the day of my baptism is my earliest memory. All I remember is the ride there, then the water.
But that was more than 10 years ago now. The last time I went to church was for my grandfather's funeral. And the last time before that was my aunt's funeral. I've never been too religious, even as a little kid.

I go almost every Sunday but that's my choice. The preacher at my church is superb and the service is only an hour. I don't think it's necessary to go to church even if you are religious (which I am) but it's nice to go and get a message (I'm Methodist so we have a lot a practical sermons about real life which helps). So nope, never been forced, heck I'm a voting member.
