Nothing, it's just a coincidence that Opera has all the smart peepz.
Even the article said something like it's not that all IE users are stupid, but that if you're stupid, the chances are that you use IE.
Also, I finally tried Opera, and it feels pretty much the same as chrome :(

Well I use Chrome more than anything, then FF. I don't exactly trust the statistics (mostly because I don't believe IQ tests are 100% accurate, and the numbers seem too low). But on a side note, since when was average IQ 100? I remember it hovered around 111 or 112 for quite awhile, are we all getting lower IQs?

So I'm stupider and smarter? I use IE on my laptop, while my DSi and Wii use Opera. And I can't see how brands of internet effect the IQ of a person.

I lol'd hard at this "study".
I have an IQ of 112, and I only uses IE.
Sorry but I say this is bulls**t. :/

This. If I remember correctly, 100 is almost below average. 113-115 was around average.
Anyway, I use firefox now, but I used to use IE until I got fed up with it.

So this is what they do with the results of one of those "free IQ test" pop ups.

I second this. ;D
And all those illusionary ads that I I always see on websites. " is this a duck or a rabbit?" And they were practically flipping the image to look like both. What does that even gotta do with IQ? It's more like common sense. D:
Statistics usually lie one way or another. It was probably coincidental for the IE users to have low IQ? I use Chrome, never Firefox for I dunno reasons. Chrome just happens to be super fast for me. I like their pre-customized themes already.

I mainly use Firefox for everything, namely because of the add-ons and a more Windows feel than Chrome. I only use Chrome when I need to run multiple RAM-intensive programs on the desktop, since Chrome doesn't bloat or leak memory as much as Firefox. Or on my slow laptop, for that matter.
But I do use Opera on my cellphone for surfing the internet. So I don't see how IQ really factors into browser preference and usage.

There are multiple standardized tests used to score IQ with different standard deviations.

IE users seem to have lower IQ because IE does not block those free IQ test popups while other browsers do.

it doesnt affect the IQ of a person. this "study" is just a complete joke and bunch of time and possibly money wasted by the people conducting the survey. if anyone has the low IQ its the surveyers.

So you do use IE... :chin:
Really though, this study doesn't mean, "Oh you use IE? You're retarded!"
It just says that
if you are borderline stupid, chances are you use IE.
