  and at OP its not so much that ... people who use IE are stupid... its just that stupid people dont realize that FF, Opera, and such are better in pretty much all terms of service, abilities and Security..

  Although the theory that IE users are lower IQ makes sense if they stick with the default browser in windows and don't bother getting more options for themselves. If you like IE that's one thing, but if you use it because you don't know any better it does kind of hint at something about your intelligence.

  Microsoft caught up with IE9. It's no longer inferior to the other browsers, and is in fact superior for things like hardware acceleration and HTML5. Just saying. xd
  I still use FF because I'm used to the UI and it's good enough.

  Also the study is bias. My father is a very smart man. The problem is that he isn't tech savy.
