Getting bullied by one person is one thing, but when just about the whole student population is "bullying" you...
I don't see any other way for Black to make a choice.

If that counts as bullying, she voids all rights to sympathy.
all rights

Yeah, it didn't sound that bad to be honest... Why, back in my day... "bullying" was like shoving someone in a locker, or depantsing, or making them eat poo or something.
Kids these days, pfft. Singing songs? lol. This is mild.

She merely sang the song. It's the producer who should be bullied.

people told her she should get an eating disorder because then she might be pretty
ok yeah, that's cool.
@tiffany; nobody does physical bullying these days, it's all cyberbullying and words, not actions.

"Cyberbullying" is such a joke. Someone making fun of you online? Whoopty doo. Who gives a ****?
Hit [x] and go to another website. It's a big internet. They'll never find you again.

Not when you combine it with people you know in real life.

Which is typically what "cyber bullying" means anyway.

Cyberbullying can also be the kind where random strangers do it. That one is possible to ignore. The former, not so easy at all.

Step 1. Don't go to social networking sites.
Step 2. There is no step 2. You win.

Try to explain that to kids who grew up breathing that stuff, unlike you. ;(

I made a library thread about cyber bullying and majority of people there agreed that it was an issue.
Maybe i should pull up the link. They all had good points.

I doubt she was expecting to get bullied like crazy as a result of it. She was probably not even expecting to get famous from such a crappy video.
People who aren't looking for fame don't make music videos. There are exactly zero such videos featuring myself. Honestly, I am a bit confused to what part of the Friday video is hers, if not the lyrics (the song?). Apparently she has some rights (or at least thinks she does) if she can claim copyright infringement on the very video that launched her into fame/infamy.
P.S. People have gotten attention for crappy things all the time; just look at reality TV or half of the videos on YouTube with view counts over 5 million.
P.P.S. It doesn't take much to realize that not a single young celebrity has led a normal childhood.
