Succubus

  I know I am WAAAY too under-leveled to fight Succubus (I'm lvl 50) but i did it for the fun of it, and to see if it was worth it.
  
  Worst idea EVER, I wasted about 20 graces just staying alive and finishing. I need some tips on defeating the succubus faster?
  
  I already know some basics like run in the opposite direction of her scythe, go through the gap she makes when using that slow-mo blast, keep moving in a non-linear pattern.
  
  Thing is, I couldn't get a whole lot of attacks in, and the dungeon pressured me with 3 minutes left to either complete it, or waste 20 graces for nothing. I need tips on throwing good hits while staying alive, especially since I'm a Spear Lann, and how to get out of being knocked down without accidently rolling right into her. >_>

  I would just suggest leveling up a bit more. I'm level 57 and I still can't beat it. Pure tactics can only get you so far, especially in a small boss room and when you're a spear lann. I think Nexon was being a troll when it decided to make the Succubus a level 50 battle quest.

  Once you get your 61 gear with attk speed, it should be a breeze, but until then, don't even think about doing it. As you said, you can't get many attacks in. The benefit to finishing it at an early level is low to none, as the items dropped are likely worth the same or less than an irukul breakoff run, unless you get an emblem.

  yep the 61+ gears will help you more than the lower lvl, but since I play Karok I have it alittle easier. Problem is my slow attack can easily get poked with Succubus's speed, but she is hell when you play in hard-mode. One beef I have is when she spams grab attack while transed >:V

  Sure you'll need some attack to do it (and a little speed), but she seriously becomes a joke when you transform. Just don't stay near her or she'll grab you.

I logged on a few days ago to check on the new Vindictus update and i did not see a Succubus quest available for me on my quest menu. Do i have to talk to someone to start a new quest in order to receive the battle quest?

  As far as I know, you have to beat Ingkells (as in the rest of Ep8 Part 1). Then you get the related quest.
  
  Anyways, from what I've seen.
  
  1. Her main moves are all predictable
  
  2. When she starts running, she'll either instantly slash, or she'll do 3 "dashes" and then slash. After that you can poke with LR or Sprint Smash. The dashes all have an attack, but it's a weak normal that you could just super armor and spin2win.
  
  3. Just stay back, it'll avoid her grab, give you time to dodge the single magic bolt, and be out of range of all of her other slashing attacks (and you can then poke with a smash)
  
  4. I have no idea how a Spear Lann would avoid the magic spam, but if you position yourself right, she won't fully circle you. Then it'll be a sort of ? shape. You can run towards the gap and sprint smash out of it.
  
  5. Her other melee attacks are either a single or double slash. If she flips, she'll only do one slash. If she slashes from a relatively standing position, she'll swing again. You can just start getting spin2win ready when you see either of them as the range is quite short.
  
  6. At your level, you'll want to fully heal before you enter the boss room. Try to do as much damage as possible without trans. When you get low on health (say <500 or so) use trans, it'll fully restore all your HP and give you an extra ~1500 HP to work with before you die. You really can't use potions during Succubus, so try not to get hit. Also it'll give you a few seconds of free spin2win.
  
  7. If she misses her grab, she'll be unable to attack for a second or two. She'll also sometimes stagger (she does not get knocked down), but that also opens her up for attack.

  @ #4 When she uses that all around magic blast she always leaves a little gap right next to where she started the circle. Spear Lann's can just roll towards and out of the circle and continue dashing, because the arrows are a bit tracker-sensitive.
  
  Edit: Tried transforming, didn't work out so well. :/ Wasted that trans> broke off my armor> spent about 20 graces because I took more damage> wasted 56 minutes on her.
  
  Double edit: Can the succubus be classified as a "her"? :chin:

  Yay I just killed her the first time now at lv56. I actually found the trash mobs to be way harder.
  
  Oh and mana pistol is OP even at rank F xD

  You know what the funny thing is? I used regular HP pots. Not those Fine ones. Regular.
  
  And @sakraycore, the regular mobs are easy to predict. The dogs always run in a straight line, and the guards only attack if you go near them and stay still.

  But I am a level 70 Evie.
  I always only run the succubus if I have my trans. Haven't tried running...no, actually, I have tried without trans. Didn't go very well. I should try again.
  Anyway, I find the mobs more difficult than the succubus. I hate them.
