Quote from Culex;55628:
France gg'ed 2 minutes into the game.
Germany fast-teched then massed mech and steamrolled western Europe. Tried to expand east but Russia denied them. Germany also couldn't take out England because they were turtling on their island, sipping tea.
US was macroing the whole time.
Japan made nothing but suicide units and decided to take out US' nat. Japan had no detectors so US made Ghosts and nuked Japan's base twice. Japan didn't know about Ghosts because their scouts had been put in internment camps.
US used their crazy ass macro to MMM Europe. Germany, Italy, and Japan gg's.
After that, Russia was impressed with US' tech, so they challenged US to a 1v1. The match mainly consisted of crazy teching.
Can we help him in a non-Starcraft referenced way?
Basically, after World War I, the U.S.'s president at the time(forgot his name) proposed the 14 Points at the end of the War, which included what should be done to Germany and the creation of a League of Nations to promote World Peace. Germany eagerly liked these terms, but Britain and France who took most of the heat of the war were unsatisfied with letting Germany go free easily with dem points, so at the Treaty of Versailes, they demilitarized Germany, made them pay all the reparations of the war, and created a no-weapon area(forgot what those areas were called) called Rhineland. None of Wilson's points were introduced except for the creation of the League of Nations, which did not succeed because America, did not join. Germany was in extreme poverty from the war, and the debts made it harder for them. I don't really recall, but they had to pay about 2 million(billion?) worth of some currency, in increments every year for 20 years. They couldn't pay when the 2nd debt(1st?) came, and the French were pissed and jacked their mines. Germany tried to fix their debt by making paper money, but since there was nothing to back it up, it was worthless. As new dollars came in, it became increasingly worthless, so prices for items went way way up.
Hitler came into power from Vienna after being rejected from an art college and was brainwashed that Jews were the root of all evil and Aryans were supreme. He was in a band of something, and got arrested for 2 years in jail where he wrote
Mein Kampf, or My Struggle describing all his ideas. He was let out early, and rose to power as a Chancellor, and implemented laws that practically gave him all power of Germany. He was a Fascist, so he ran a totalitarian regime which controlled most of the major industries, and started to induce increases in firearms and weaponry. In 1937?, he went into Rhineland and occupied it, but Nevile Chamberlain regarded it as them "moving back into their back-garden", and let them do it. This eventually went on several times where Europe appeased and let Hitler do whatever he wanted. He increased his army, and took a part of a country that was occupied with Germans.
He then attacked France with an improved version of the Schlieffen Plan(whatever you spell it) and took over France and bypassed through Belgium, which left him to deal with Britain and Russia and started World War II. He attacked Russia later on in a 3-pronged attack, and almost reached the capital of Moscow until winter came and struck Hitler's army, which wasn't equipped for the winter. Meanwhile, in Japan, they occupied Manchuria in 1939, and attacked Pearl Harbor in December 7, 1941. America defeated Japan through island-hopping, and Russia fought in a counter-attack aganist Hitler's army, and gradually got Russia's cities back. In France, French Free Forces were fighting under the influence of Charles De Gaulie to free occupied France, and I forgot what Britain did. XD All the while, the Holocaust was going on, killing over 6 million Jews and a lot of other races, including homosexuals.
And then I forgot how Hitler was defeated, but I know he committed suicide and Japan surrendered when the 2 nukes sent by the U.S. hit Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Not all of this is accurate, but it's from the top of my mind. I still have my notes from World War II though, so if you want, I can look over it and tell you what happened. Not sure what you mean by phases though. I got a 100% on my WWII Test and really As in all of my History tests, because it's all memorizing~ :D
