Now I've had something on my mind recently and I thought I would ask you guys this.
Would you be a Jedi?
The emphasis not being on all of the Jedi's ****ed up morals but instead on their no love policy.
So basically, you can feel love but can't express it. It is forbidden in Jedi law.
Would give up love for immense power?
For those who don't know what Jedi are capable of (and remember, this is JEDI not SITH.):
-Telekinesis
-Mind Control
-Increased physical capabilities (strength, speed, endurance, etc.)
-Other abilities like healing, invisibility, energy absorbtion, etc. (these abilities require immense study and dedication to the force)
Also, this includes no intercourse. Since this isn't in RH, don't go into detail on intercourse.
I'm not sure, so I'll make a post after a long walk full of thought.

Couldn't I learn all the powers of a jedi then ditch them and go bang alien chicks?

Anakin was a jedi who got a wife.
What's up with that?
But for me, nope I rather be a bounty hunter,

I wouldnt want to give up expressing my love to have power...so I would not be a Jedi, not have any of those powers, but still be very happy because I can express my love.

I'd do it. But only because thats the sort of person I am. Something like love isn't something I would sacrifice abilities like that for. I honestly would hope that other people wouldn't do it, its just that I'm more or less dead to that sort of pain, I think not expressing love wouldn't be very hard for me at all.

I thought he became a sith after he fought his mentor, not before he got married.

Obligatory Sith and Jedi codes. Which do you feel would be something you would pledge?
Quote from Jedi Code:
There is no emotion, there is peace.
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
There is no passion, there is serenity.
There is no chaos, there is harmony.
There is no death, there is the Force.
Quote from Sith Code:
Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.

Sith. What's the use of gaining all this power if you can't tell someone you love them?
