Just want to set a few things straight:
Drops from field bosses are indeed random. Spazzyorbit has finished countless bosses (hundreds, at least) since Pioneers came out and I know the poor guy hasn't gotten much worth speaking of. If there is anyone to take data from to call it "proof", it's him.
Although I do know who used the pet pvp thing, that person is not in our guild nor was that part of our strategy to get the finish.
Now, we all know windmilling dragons shifts their aggro and shouldn't be done in general as it causes it to dash. That said, when there are over a hundred people fighting it the dragon's AI is much more unpredictable, so it IS part of our strategy to keep the aggro away from our finishers, which means wm'ing in a different direction. People get caught in that crossfire, and of course sometimes it is intentional who we are trying to knock back. But getting exp is part of the game and that is what's at stake, not your ego.
Ganjee and Justinishere are pretty decent at field bosses, as are many others on the server. But the FB game is evolving and our group has found a way to win the majority of the time by playing as a unit. Nobody here is modding or hacking their way into FB finishes, although we do see people out there using infinite-FH and noone calling them out. I understand it's frustrating. From your perspective, I get it. But here we are.

oh yeah?? the said person is using a mod so that he can do things to others that we cant do to him. so indeed he is modding to get the upper hand. im talking about the disabling of duel requests. if he disables that mod then we'll be able to say we all have a fair chance.

Everyone will
never have a fair chance.
Someone will always have the upper hand, no matter what.
Stop complaining and get used to it.

dude. why is it you read select posts and ignore others. do you have any idea why i said that?? ylpmis was talking as if they were playing fair and square. she said they dont mod or hack to get the finish. i was trying to point out that the thing that guy has is something like a mod, so it is NOT fair.

Unfair advantages =/= advantages
Stop complaining about complaining.

You don't know what the word complaining means, do you? Look it up.
Here:
Let me google that for you
Now you can use it properly.
Also. When did I ever say that unfair advantages were the same thing as normal advantages? They are exactly the same thing. An unfair advantage is an advantage nonetheless (notice it has the word "advantage" in it. :thumb:)
Let me google that for you

Like I said before, common sense. If you don't know that someone will take drastic measures to get the best drops, the most experience, and their name across the top of the screen, then something is wrong with you.
It's all about the measures being used. Not everyone and certainly way less then 99% know that people are gonna be dicks by doing these methods to get the finish. Though I bet more know people will be dicks to get the finish.
Also. PM'ing you requires motivation to do so and the energy required to carry it out. Which I don't have.

Apparently you didn't read the part where I said "common sense." If you
honestly don't know that someone will take drastic measures to get a finish, then you should be taken behind the barn and shot, because you're so unintelligent you're a burden to society.
Edit: Also, why don't you stop using the "99%" figure, go back some pages, and read the post where I said something about an exaggeration. Unless you're too lazy or dimwitted to do so, in which case I'll happily quote it for you.

I'm not saying I don't know how ridiculous people will be over a finish.... but newer players and ones who don't field boss much will not know.

People being shot for not knowing something?
He did say he knew about these people :what:
He is not lazy nor any other, he just doesn't feel the need to PM you

Being too lazy to PM you is different then being too lazy to ignore your fail 99% figure and its exaggeration. You are still basing your argument around the fact that alot of people know about this, when in fact they don't. Those who have played since beta will know, those who go raid field bosses know, those who only started going to DD cause of this event wont know. And the majority of nation didn't know, and Nation is pretty big, and if we look at their friends wouldn't they be likely to tell them this? So that means even less people know about it.
Way to be an ass over something so fickle.
