Ego Transfer Info
[SPOILER="Spoiler"]
There are two quests related to transferring your Ego, one with Talarch and another with Dorren.
Talarch Transfer (can NOT change weapon type)
Required Items
1 Spirit Liquor
30 Elemental Remover
5 Sprit Restoration Potion
1 Sprit Hunmeng(literally means faint into darkness) Potion
A new weapon where you want to transfer your ego (it needs to be 100 Prof and 80% original dura)
Restriction
A new weapon must be the same kind of weapon you current have. Bow to Sword is NOT possible.
You can NOT change name of your Ego.
What happens?
Existing Ego WILL stay but go back to the state before being Ego-ed.
Any Metal-ware enhancements done on Ego will NOT transfer and stay with existing weapon.
Any Metal-ware enhancements done on New Ego BEFORE the transfer WILL stay.
You will loose certain amount of exp for each of stats. See below for mor info on stat transfers.
Dorren Trasfer (can change weapon type)
Required Items
2 Spirit Liquor
30 Elemental Remover
5 Sprit Restoration Potion
2 Sprit Hunmeng(literally means faint into darkness) Potion
1 Sprit Potion of Seal
A new weapon where you want to transfer your ego
(it needs to be 100 Prof and 80% original durability)
A Sprit Stone that corresponds to your new Ego type
Restriction
You CAN change name of your Ego.
What happens?
Existing Ego will NOT stay.
Any Metal-ware enhancements done on Ego WILL disappear along with the weapon.
Any Metal-ware enhancements done on New Ego BEFORE the transfer WILL stay.
Concerning Stat Transfers
When you transfer via either method, you will lose some experience. I don’t have exact numbers yet, but based on what I’ve seen so far, I assume it will loose certain percentage of each stat instead of set amount of exp or level. I will edit when I have more information.
There IS a way to preserve your stats via using Restoration Liquor and will show on your Ego that its stat will be preserved when transferred.
Some of the new potions mentioned above are being sold at NPC in test server, so there isn’t any information how they are obtained. But we can safely assume that Restoration Liquor would be an NX item.

Here are some Ego related updates from KR test server.
Arbalest
Highlander Longbow
Elven Short Bow
Elven Long Bow
So basically Elven bow series have been added for range weapons.
Montague Sword
Highlander Claymore
Excutioner Sword
Wooden Blade
Broad Stick
Wooden Stick
Hooked Cutlass
Noble Sword
Dirk
Scimitar
Battle Sword
Battle Short Sword
War Sword
Falcata
Viseo's Bronze Mirror Blade
Machete
A lot of Melee weapons added. Expecting War Sword, Falcata, Battle Sword and HLC would be some of most powerful Melee egos. Fal and Battle will likely to have very high Max and reasonable Crit and of course longer stun time than One-Hand Military Sword.
There are also few Ego-transfer related items. It seems like it is possible to transfer Ego to another weapon at cost of losing Ego stats. I am not sure if weapon remains or it is destroyed. There is an item that prevent (not sure completely or partially) stat loss. Most likely to be NX item. And finally there is a dye that can dye Ego. Also likely to be NX item.
I'll update on the transfer info if I get across them.
Dunno, even if a weapon is stronger in normal upgrades doesn't necessarily mean it'll be a stronger ego.
Look at Claymore and Two-Handed Sword. Claymore has higher max damage in normal upgrades than Two-Handed Swords but falls short of it as an ego.
Also, does the ego transfer loses all stats or just a few? If it transfers your ego to a new weapon but everything goes to level 1, not much point to it.
Or does it scale according to EXP gain rank from ego feeding?

The item description was vague and I couldn't tell for sure. Like I said, I will update as I get more info on them. And an upgraded Claymore is actually more focused on higher critical than pure max damage.

Thanks.
However it doesn't change the fact that a fully upgraded Two-Handed sword falls short of it in Max damage in normal upgraes but when it comes to ego has a higher max damage rate than a claymore.
I can expect the same for the new egos in a way they are balanced out with the existing type.

Ego Battle Sword Initial Stats
Damage 30~42
Critical 32%
Durability 35
Comparing with Glad or Bastard is pointless at this point. It has slightly less damage and slightly higher crit than military.
-

Ego War Sword Initial Stats
Damage 18~48
Critical 28%
Durability 35
Even higher initial max than military, but obviously less critical.
I think balance between the old has been broken at this point? (and conveniently add NX item to transfer your Ego.)

So... no egoable Francisca? D:
And ego-transfer... that would be useful if you don't want to start all over again.

There is, I must've left it off since everyone knew it already.

Nice, is it upgradable?
I wonder if these new egos will eventually outdamage and outclass the Elsinore Sword.

yes, I updated the first post.

Oh sweet. I have a reason to keep my francisca after all now. I guess Francisca will be one of the strongest blunt ego weapons in game.
If possible... could you upgrade the first post, with their own base stats each? I would like to know base stats for Fran, lol.
Look like I'll be looking forward to this upgrade.

Item description lacked upgrade so I would assume it won't be and it shouldn't be anyways.

It would be a middle finger if these new weapons outclass the Elsinore unless it was just as hard to get, eh?
