I guess this is a question for the people who host raid boats...
what's your cut off?

Damage? or Attack power?
Once the boats starts no one can tell how much damage you did, unless you came in first, and of course, it's too late to kick you once the boat launches.
For attack power, a lot of people don't seem to care, but the ones I've seen that do, will post their requirements in the boat title; it's usually 11,000 or 12,000 in Att (or M.Att if you're an Evie). I've only seen this requirement myself for Glas runs.
I don't host boats myself (because I often d/c right as the boss is killed when I do), but if I did, I'd rather have someone who doesn't die (constantly), isn't afraid to revive others when they can, can follow simple party guidelines, and overall helps the party to have a successful raid. Too many people I see ignore downed teammates and go all out on attack, are impatient about being revived when they go down, and simply seem to be aiming for 1st in damage to the boss. I find that rather depressing.
With all that being said, higher attack power across all 8 people will generally lead to shorter raid runs, which leaves more time to do other things for people only interested in their slim chance at rare boss drops on the one-a-day raids.

attack/magic attack power.
i was definately kicked from a boat that didn't say "11k+" or w/e probably because I had under 11k. On most of the boats that don't write their requirement, you still see tons of people "magically disappear", so pretty sure most of them do care even if they don't name the boat explicitly...

I see tons of staff evies under 12k though and they usually do fine in glas. Just yesterday I got 3rd place and I only have 11k matk with a fireworks launcher (almost all of them 12k+).

Don't complain to me.
Its just how it is.

I would say 12k+ at best and MOSTLY IF THEY DONT DIE ALOT!!!
worst run was the last Glas I did with a open party, soo many people with random stat. Whole party get wiped in 10 seconds after like 4 party res. I had to eat up about 4 goddess and 40 merc pots to keep the run alive. I ended up doing 60% of the damage at the end :v

Oh wow... that's why I don't waste goddess' graces on parties that can't stay alive for more than a few seconds at a time. There's also nothing more embarrassing than to call on a friend to assist in a battle, only to watch everyone die again within a few seconds. Sometimes it's just better to quit in hopes of finding a better party for the next attempt.

Just be glad you didn't have to party with a prick who can't even be bothered to put forth their high expectations. But at the same time, I wouldn't jump to conclusions about why people are kicked, because I've known a lot of people who kicked people without any explanation, and it was usually something not at all connected to the individual being kicked. I've also been kicked before appearing on the boat when I had over 12k attack.

Usually being kicked before a boat loads is the host trying to reserve a slot for a friend/guildy. It just irks me how they didn't let them in before making the boat in that case.
And 12k is usually a good baseline. I don't know how many boats actually check your stats though. If you're an Evie, it's probably unrelated to class choice as well.

I'd say it wouldn't matter TOO much if you're one of the few Evies on the boat, specifically Staff because of heals. Most boats I see have the 12k attack requirement. Though, I'd much rather take someone with say, 10k attack who knows the boss to the extent he/she can solo it rather than someone with 13k attack who dies every single time they're revived.

Very true, but there have also been cases where, before the party is fully assembled or before the boat launches, a guild member wants to join and can't be invited before randoms fill out the party.
There are also some cases where a party member has to go back to town briefly and the host wants to invite them back. It doesn't make sense to keep kicking random joins until the person is ready to rejoin the party (a bit of delay just because they have to load the town).
Both of these situations can lead to people being spontaneously kicked well after loading onto the boat, often with no explanation, though with proper planning they can be avoided altogether.

Most? I haven't seen any. Maybe it's a West thing...

I got kicked few times for being a karok, even though I meet the 12k+ requirement in some party. Personally by my experience I have the most survivability in the raids I've been (since I know the SA timing for most raid boss attack) and have around 6.5k+ def if anyone cared much on def. But probably my survivability is due to my mercy and fine up pots, but I still see some people using regular pots w/o bonus effecting it. I usually come in 2-4th in raids 1st in that terrible glas run >_>...
But I'm not sure about other classes's survival techniques I believe my karok has it easy. But there are some members that die early in the raid and I dont understand why people keep res'ing that guy (ex: the staff evie that got res about 8 times)

i would say 11.5k, but that pretty much means a +8 item or enhanced +5

No no...what I meant was that whenever I DO see one, it's almost always 12k+ attack. I don't see them that often really, but whenever I do, 12k is the lowest requirement.
