ICC (International Criminal Court) issued an arrest on the freaking Pope himself. :skip:
Allegedly the Pope Benedict XVI (also known as Pope that looks like the Sith Lord) is charged with crimes against humanity. More specifically, systematically covering for pedophilia crimes of Catholic priests, bribing/coercing the families of the victims to stay quiet and providing protection to priests accused of child molestation and making sure they keep their jobs as priests.

Also as a Catholic, this appalls me. Although I can't really call myself a Catholic these days as my belief in God is flimsy at best and I haven't really prayed or gone to church in over 4 years.
So I guess I should say "fomor" Catholic who is now barely a Christian. I'm more into Polytheism truth be told. But that's another story.

I feel like a bad person for disliking a pope, but seriously....he looks like a sith.
It doesn't help that Pope John Paul II was one of the most amazing humans to have lived in the last 150 years.

It is, but I just had to.
On a serious note, I don't really think he's a power hungry hobbit-man.

I agree. Not all Catholic Priests are like that. I have a favorite priest from when I was younger. Sadly he got transferred to another church. Father Decker was always kind to our family. Shame that he hated cats. We used to joke with him all the time about that...
Getting sidetracked. If the Pope did do this though, off with his head and elect a new Pope!

A fomor, hmm? lol...
He probably
can't actually be arrested though since he is a head of state.
Anywho, source was from another forum. And the OP later posted this...
Eh, folks. I looked it up and found out it was a bad wording in the article I read and thus I misunderstood. What really happened is that the charge against the pope was issued to the ICC, not by it. From another article I found out that ICC promised to handle this case quickly, so we don't have wait that long before we all find out if the ICC accepts this charge or not.
Sorry, my fault there.
There's no questioning whether he did it or not. He definitely did it. And
it's been going on for some time...
The only question is whether he can actually be arrested or not.

The Pope is just another position in leadership.
There have been fair Popes, tyrannical Popes, and Popes used as a scapegoat by those underneath him.
Can't generalize that.
And I can't seem to find any articles saying that an arrest was actually issued, but rather that victims are asking for one.

I also agree. There is actually a higher % of these things happening from teachers than priest. People just focus on priest more. Also i believe many children who are abused aren't all just boys there are also girls.
