I want a good gaming computer between $1000-$1500.
Contemplating on building one or just buying one. Building one is a bit like, meh for me only because I don't have a house to get it delivered cause of the flood happening and all.
:whoops:
You made that building topic two months ago and it received over 100 replies.

Why not go with that?
My current laptop is a beast. And they knocked down the price even further by 100 dollars.
As far as the specs goes, its an unbelievable deal.
Edit: Looked it up and its back up to original price. Still a good deal.

If you're not looking to get a laptop though, you can probably go a good step further than this with the same price.
Anyways, don't take bias to the fact that its from bestbuy. I know bestbuy is overpriced, but for some reason this is seriously the cheapest laptop you'll find for the same specs. In fact, Asus themselves sell this very laptop for 1400 dollars.
It looks real nice, actually tempting to buy, but I have a bad history with lap tops, so this time around I'm looking to buy a tower.
post when you get back to a house
the cat doesnt want anything to happen to an expensive desktop
(yes people smuggle desktops alongside laptops)
I know what you mean.
Alternatively, they offer a one year warranty for a hundred dollars. This warranty covers EVERYTHING, so at the end of the hundred dollars you hammer it and then go get a new one, and even then it'll probably be up to date as far as hardware specs go.
Now just letting you know, this laptop is a BEAST, and its HEAVY. If you DO get it, you should most definitely treat it like a desktop and don't move it so much. If you actually used this thing on your lap like a laptop is normally intended, it would crush your legs. If you put it on your bed, it will sink into the sheets, block ventilation, and burn.
And good luck finding a bag that can hold it.
So yeah, its a laptop but treat it like an easier-to-move desktop.
I'm currently duel screening with a 21 inch monitor, and have a separate keyboard hooked up to it (personally prefer the standard Dell keyboards more than most). Also turns out I can do some local gaming with two keyboards, like playing Metal Slug 3 on my emulator with a friend. Or getting a second player to join in Grief Syndrome.
by smuggle, the cat means that house robbers dont only take iPods, iphones, laptops etc.
they also do desktops.
Oh, you meant is literally... We live in a dead end, so I wouldn't worry about stealing too much. A real nice white-town-neighbourhood too.
