More new Pokemon revealed

  Looking back on all the other old Pokemon... how does Unown look like a Pokemon? How does Kecleon look like a Pokemon?
  
  It's 'cause we've gotten used to them. So you'll get used to these.
  
  Times are different. Gosh, I wouldn't want them to make the same classic, old Pokemon over and over again. Sure, I love Bulbasaur, but I don't want all my Grass starters to remind me of him! I want someone different. Same for the newer Dragons, same for the newer Legendaries.
  
  Steel-type Robot Pokemon? SURE, WHY NOT? As long as you make the game fun and exciting. Even if it gets boring and repetitive after you beat the Elite Four and etc, but doesn't that happen to every Pokemon game?
  
  I wanna catch different monsters, not the same old ones over and over again.
  
  This is why I appreciate the different-looking Pokemon, even if they looks so modern/crazy. But hey, there's always those down-to-earth critters that do "look" like Pokemon. "Look" because the creator decides what is a Pokemon or not.
  
  If it has a Pokedex # and it's in a Pokemon game, it's a darn Pokemon. Get over it.

  I pretty much agree with this. Just because the pokemon look different, doesn't mean that the design is unoriginal. You guys just need time to adjust to the newer pokemon. And besides, pokemon games are fun because of the awesome gameplay, not the graphics or character design or what-have-you.
  
  That being said, I'd actually like to see a change in the way the game is played out. It should still have the same turn-by-turn battle system and the gameplay itself shouldn't change, but I'd like to able to do more than just battling gym leaders. Give us something fun to do to make level grinding less of a hassel after defeating the elite four. Soul Silver and Heart Gold definately had the right idea with letting you fight tougher trainers (i.e. Red from FireRed/LeafGreen) and all that, but after you fight them, you had to go back to fighting the elite four to train most of your pokemon which was a huge hassle for me.
  
  I'd also like to see a spin off game where you can directly control the pokemon during battle a la Kingdom Hearts style gameplay. That would be just awesome.

  I actually think Unknown(?) has the original Pokemon look.. after 3G.. they all went bad.. it's like they didn't even try anymore, they didn't have the original Pokemon touch/feel.. Not to mention the series hurt Pokemon more than it helps :l

  Each Pokemon is based off something in RL, usually. Look them up. The creators aren't getting "bored." They're just picking up new ideas always.

  Venusaur resembles the mammal-like reptile from the Triassic Period, Kannemeyeria, as well as toads, as do its pre-evolutions Bulbasaur and Ivysaur. The flowering plant's origin is unknown but it appears to be a palm tree. The flower itself resembles the parasitic Rafflesia.

  No, they're not getting bored. They're using newer myths and legends, and incorporating some of that new knowledge into the newer Pokemon games. And that's actually pretty cool.
  
  They're also using new creatures. Zebras, pigeons, chinchillas! But all you guys do is whine, whine, whine. You apparently want them to use the same old creatures again.

  And I'm sorry, but there's nothing quite interesting about Raticate besides its Super Fang attack. Or Fearow. Or Seaking, for godssakes. The 151 first Pokemon were classic, but we're past those. Bring in the new. As crazy as they look.

  I like the alligator, it's one of the best looking ones IMO. I can see this thing have a really bad ass evolution as you said.
