Playstation 3 is a definite worth of money.
Has a ton of classics (PSX) which you can buy for like... $3~$10, depending on which game.
Also, there's more exclusive-content with the Playstation 3 than the Xbox 360.
Most of the people that has Xbox 360 (from my perspective), plays Modern Warfare and Halo.
If you're looking for mainly RPGs, Anime-Related Games, etc, then go after the Playstation 3.
If you're looking for FPS, then go for Xbox 360.
My only concern with Xbox 360 is the player-base, because there's many jerks on there than PS3/PC.
