  Hopefully it's different enough from his normal unarmed though, but I can see why they chose this concept (the last thing we need is a Hammer Fiona + Lann).

  So in a sense, we should get ready for turtle Karoks. If this weapon is midrange, all they have to do is stay out of the bosses range and build up meter. The 'weaving' thing can't expect them to get hit while using it...so how exactly does that work? It can't be on successive 'empty' rolls either or they'd have 100% crit all day every day.
  
  Basically, what counts as a dodge? Either you get hit and confirm without immediate damage (slip dash / absorb shock) or you don't get hit (spear lann). There is no other way to tell if you dodged to my knowledge. I'd have to see it in action before crying OP, however Devcat has a 100% success rate on OP'ifying classes that have had updates.

  Though I'm disappointed that the flail idea was scrapped. But man. Jesus christ. That last concept art where the gauntlet triggers an explosion after the punch. So beyond epic.
