I thought Rakrack is pretty good, but according to Nexon forum it's not... I dono. Which Scythe do you guys think is the best? And is the +9 speed really worth over MAttk?

I would say Rakrak Claw or Braid Tassel Battle Scythe depending on whether speed or attack power is more important to you.
The Silent Shadow and Black Hammer Scythe just don't compare with these two, in my opinion. The newest 3 scythes have more attack power and the Lionoteeth even has speed to match the Rakrak Claw, but their balance is awful. On the flip side, the Fobellow Tin Scythe has the highest balance (by a bit) and the highest Critical rating (by a bit more), but its attack power is by far the lowest and it offers no attack speed boost at all.
I chose to make a Rakrak Claw myself, as I find the extra speed lets me land a more punishing combo than I could with a slower scythe.

My thoughts exactly. Since Evie's scythe damage depend on the last smash hit and the skill afterward, there really is no point in high MAttk unless you are able to land the combo. I think in real combat Rakrak will come out with much higher damage output because of that.

I think the best scythe in-game is the Braid-Tassel scythe followed, if not tied, by the Rakrak claw. I have the braid tassel and scythe of caresses and I switch off between those two and can definitely tell a difference and they're the same +.

I'm not really a big believer in the efficacy of Balance.
I would rather make a Lionoteeth than a Rakrak, personally. (Once materials get cheaper and stuff.)
The nearly 600 M.ATT advantage is just too juicy to pass up.

Probably raider scythe followed by scythe of caresses. MATK is pretty much the only thing that matters for me on a scythe.

You're going to have to start using staves anyway, at least in the bigger raids. Survivability>DPS.

I still don't like the staff attacks, they don't have the kind of feel a scythe does.

Scythe is better for Lionotus than staff. More KD and actually has more survivability there.

Scythe is better for glas...if you have a really small party like 2 or 3 people (or if you're gutsy 1) since he'll be focusing on you more and blink > amber for some glas attacks, mainly his flying attack (the others where amber > blink can still be managed).
