Last I checked, the one falling on his face all the time is Lann, not Scythe Evie. Of course this is another one of those "Bawww Raids are the only thing in this game" arguments isnt it?
Scythe Evie can solo Hidden extremely early due to Golem, wisp, and pistol. Don't even really need to do anything, just sit back and enjoy the easy levels.
Golem will never be useful against giant raid bosses, it in its own nature would just be an annoyance to anyone who isn't an evie
Sword Lann can actually do fairly well on almost any raid excluding Thor, and Lionotus. In fact, Sword Lann can do exceptionally well in Glas, and certain modes of Colru. Spear Lann most certainly has trouble on mostly every endgame raid boss, however, this can be overcome by stacking DEF. While that does require money, if we argue that scythe Evie also can stack DEF, she won't get anywhere near as much utility out of it as a spear Lann can, due to his pseudo-infinite stamina and his super-armor spinning. In fact, a spear Lann rocking out 8~9k DEF is quite possibly the most OP thing in Vindictus right now. Moreso than a Scythe Evie rocking similarly outrageous MATT numbers.
In terms of damage comparison, scythe Evie takes the longest time to do her best in terms of damage out of all the characters (even longer than sword Fiona actually, since spamming LR on a sword Fiona is higher DPS than Amaranth Kick spamming). Somewhere in the neighborhood of ~3.5 seconds for Invisible Loom. She is also the only character that has no real means of burst damage (compared to Lann who can either Slip -> DC for quick crits with swords or LR with spears for almost guaranteed crits with Fury Infusion on). This is painfully apparent against bosses like Colru who have obnoxiously large hitboxes since scythe Evie needs to do long windups behind Colru, and if Colru does any of his wide array of attacks that will hit to his sides (or behind), then there goes the scythe Evie's entire combo.
And as for your Hidden comment, I don't even get where that comes from. Lann actually has it the easiest considering he can faceroll Hidden with r9 Fury Infusion + r6 Critical Mastery.
