Super old tutorial, not entirely sure if the mechanics shown in this video still apply.
Just for the sake of posting

Good demonstration however
the second round does have a damage multiplier. I don't know the exact values however according to
JWiki at rank 1 the second swing has approximately a 790% max swing (but the JWiki chart shows that each corresponding round is actually the next round of MWorld's chart i.e. 4 Swing at MWorld is 5 Swing at JWiki). Then again I do not really know the exact values unless someone peers into the xmls.

Oh, this is a very old video; I'm aware of this now. The point was to introduce the concept of "rounds" to those who had no idea such mechanics were included in the skill.
Edit: I also noticed your location says in Katakana that you live in Tranpoli. Your avatar is Rune Factory relevant, no? The name of the town is Tra

You should have also included that one must not use Full Swing by clicking on enemies because this method will take the clicked enemy's protection in consideration for critical rate. Instead click on the floor facing the direction you want to destroy that way the system has no protection to reduce critical rate.
RE: Yes but Japanese does not have the consonant "M" but the consonant "N" (ん & ン) can be used as the "M" consonant. I.E. Bambi in Japanese would be Banbi ãƒãƒ³ãƒ“ because of the absence of the "M" consonant. Therefore it is トランãƒãƒªã€‚

Again, it's a video from around.. June or July 2010. I learned even more about the skill after making this video. Another point that I've been trying to convey as I've said.. three times now? This is a video about rounds mostly. There was a video done to prove that GFS does in fact ignore protection when executed in a certain way.

I have heard "To-ra-mu-po-ri" instead of "To-Ra-nn-po-ri", but I suppose it's actually written as mentioned above. I'm just curious as to why you'd put it in Katakana when a large portion of the community here isn't likely to understand what it says. In any case, you learn something new every day.

Didn't see the date on the video. I thought it was something you did recently seeing that this is a new post/your first post.

That's the funny part.

Nope, I've been around for a long time. I just recently started paying attention to mabination.

I don't understand what this is even about.
In my months of non-stop their method spam, I never noticed a difference in damage whether I swing once or 5 times.
-
Thrower wrote on 2011-12-07 04:02
If you don't have rank 1, you're not likely to notice the difference.
Edit: Woops, misread your status as being 300 instead of 3000. If you don't notice a difference, I'm not too sure what to tell you. It's already proven that not only the damage increases, but splash range as well. Their method isn't necessarily a good method of damage testing either, just to let you know.

Yeah, even though it ignores prot for crit, the high numbers mean the the damage still gets eaten away. So Their Method, with...50% prot mobs? The gap between swings is subsequently cut in half.
Also, in retrospect, I really wish I had made that video...prettier...

mm, what can I say? Not that I'm much better at video editing now, but it was for informative purposes so I'm not complainin'.
Edit: Wait a minute.. Ruairi.. you're not- Oh hoh hoh hoh, I thought you quit goddammit. Long time no talk. I didn't notice you were talking about the Prot video. Wow, so you run the show in these parts?

Hardly, I use freebirths so I don't have everything maxed, but I've got it where it counts...mostly. I do a lot of theorizing and let my richer friends test the numbers for me.
Been locked out since the start of G15 and my computer died several months before that even...so I haven't been around much.

Bummer, they're still not unlocking people but folks are getting unbanned I guess. I knew I was debating with someone who seemed familiar.
And yeah.. freebirths here too, explains why I'm only 2.7k but just like back then, I manage to stretch that number to be as strong as someone twice my level. Though.. haha, there's no real 5k+ giants on mari anymore.

(*Д*)I love you. Easy to understand and makes sense.
I got locked out of my human main and spent the last few weeks struggling with my mule's giant-only skills.

Were we planning to make a giant guide at some point? It seems obvious Devcat has no plans to make giants more popular, but I really wish I saw more decent giants and less naked, super-blobs.
