In the review you gave it 4/5? 4 out of 5 is really close to being dropped? I wont argue over if the review is correct or not because that's really just an opinion and they can be very different. To each their own, but really something has to be a perfect 5 out of 5 now or it is almost not worth watching at all?
Overall though I enjoyed episode 13 and 14 should be really interesting looking forward to that one xD.
Yeah.
4/5 and its almost fucking dropped.
But I explained why. I explained it perfectly well.
How good an anime is has nothing to do with whether I think you should watch it or not. Tower Of Druaga for example is probably a 3/5 in my book but I found it much more enjoyable than Sword Art Online.

The past few episodes: so close to fucking dropped.
Heres my review.
You're being nice, SAO is a solid 2/5, 3 if you're feeling generous.

You guys went into this series expecting a gold mine didn't you?

I expected a cute short .hack// rip off.
and thats what I appear to be getting.

Considering how half of us already read the LNs and pretty much know what's going to happen next in the series, as well as the SAO web novel predating .hack, you seem to be misinformed. I'll agree that it isn't a masterpiece and that the fan base it's gathering is god awful, but hey, I enjoy it.

Wait what? Wiki says the light Novel came out in 2009 while the first .hack game came out in 2002 and .hack// also came out in 2002. o_o
Hell first time I heard of SAO was on Baka-Tsuki a few years ago.

Key word web novel. The author initially wrote SAO for a contest, yet ended up overshooting the length limit and just went ahead and made the story. It was issued as a Light Novel later on. He's even writing a compilation of stories online that take place during SAO arc that cover all the events from floors 1 ~ 75.

If we really want to get technical, I recall somebody claiming that the creator of the .hack series said in an interview that he got inspiration for the series from the SAO web novel. Though even I myself could question the validity of that claim.

http://wordgear.x0.com/ Just went on his site and it says 2002 too o_o And yes the people who maintain the wiki are generally crazy dedicated, especially if the page is popular, they usually get their facts straight.

You should probably feel bad for not reading them, though you probably wouldn't regardless considering how low your comprehension level is.

Figures the episode ends just as I'm starting to get pumped. Oh, well. Time to wait for the next one, I guess.
P.S. that insult above me better be a joke.

I can't recall myself ever being serious with a majority of my insults (and posts in general) on this forum. [S]Besides, if I wanted it to be serious, I would have made it more lengthy just to emphasize on it.[/S]
