Seems that Kirito has a good day ahead of him.

It's a lot more entertaining than his <<Dual Blades>> skill, that's for sure.

Is it just my impression, or did the animation quality go down? D: 16 was still a pretty awesome ep, but I wonder if they're not trying very hard with the animation, knowing people will love it anyway. :<

More like assuming. I was pretty disappointed with the end of the last arc. Hopefully this one goes better and reduces the plot armor.

Ah so you want the main characters to die.

I don't think she meant she wanted any main characters to die or anything, more like something along the lines of Kirito not being ridiculously OP. Which is funny because Kirito is the walking embodiment of everything overpowered in an MMO.

Glad he kept his parameters and that the game is more skill-based.

I'll have to say one thing.
In the novel he didn't seem to have such epic speed in ALO.. I get the feeling they just tried to make him seem too epic.
ALO doesn't have a Str/dex stat and so an very high lvl player have the same speed limitation of an human body the same as a low lvl player. At best the high level player only have better equipment and more battle experience at fighting other people. But like in Kirito's example, even if someone join the game as a newb, if that person is extremely good at fighting, that person could even beat pros of the game. I don't know why they made Kirito move at such kind of inhuman speed in the anime version of ALO...

In the novel, Kirito was still super fast.
Vol 3, Ch 2.
In this world, only one thing controls how fast you can move: the speed at which your brain receives signals from the «Full Dive» system and reacts to them. Amusphere sends signals to the brain's cognitive faculties, then the brain processes these signals and produces signals which control the motor functions of the body. These signals are then intercepted by the Amusphere system. The faster a player's brain is able to do this, the faster the player can move in the game. Innate reflexes are one of the things that determine how fast this happens but the speed is also improved with experience, so the longer one plays the faster they can move.
