Nah, Nexon is just being cheap so devcat has less time to actuallly do things.
devcat does all of the programming for every region of Vindi/Mabinogi Heroes. Nexon NA doesn't do any real programming, EU doesn't, CN doesn't, etc. You can tell because our client has info for other region-specific items (like those European and Chinese armor sets), despite the fact that we're obviously not China/Japan.

In that case, I applaud to DevCAT for putting up with Nexon's BS. DevCAT creates games with great potential; Nexon trashes it.

so far after the patch
-fixed the bug that caused bow switching to darken the screen of everyone in the party
-trans missile/drain no longer procs from normal bow shots except for longbow perfect shot. major nerf
-fixed a bug that caused stam to remain the same amount after switching bows while running
-fixed the clunky function of shortbow shooting. the shooting stance now ends at a more reasonable time table. but doubletap run canceling is still viable if you need to move right away. the issue with commands after continuous shortbow firing getting pushed back still exists but seemingly seems to have decreased in frequency it happens, still need to check on this
-standing longbow firing will now properly only consume 7 stam for firing. moving while aiming will incure an additional 3 stam cost.
-fixed the issue with longbow firing ignoring your aim and heading for a target close to you
-fixed issues concerning the aiming with multi-sniping
-cooldowns for SP skills will now properly show even when you don't have enough SP to use the skill.
-Kai will now properly benefit from attack speed [though people are currently commenting that the effect is minimal]
-fixed bug with wire evasion consuming SP, and the issue with the sound effect getting muted.
-arrow storm will no longer be cancelled when the device collides with the enviroment
but,
-they created new bugs with arrow storm. the skill is currently not hitting targets and have been bugging in other weird ways
-they still haven't fixed the bug with dual link sometimes freezing the character, although the bug now only seems to be limited for certain objects
-sidestep dancing still makes shortbow firing faster, but this seems to be more of a function working in an unexpected manner than a bug [like Fiona's HC]
Additional details added to his Kai guide
-His 'kick' moves count as a 'kick' [duh?] and counts towards kick titles and mission bonuses
-Although he doesn't have any grappling moves he can get the title by using dual-link.
-His assigned animation for grappling is the same as Lann. It was possible to grapple normal mobs with grappling hooks but it was patched quickly
-His evasion key doesn't work sometimes while running, reminds me of the time when it was a big deal for lanns
-Since his SP steadily decreases by default, SP gain is a huge problem for Kais in DS battles. Where SP gain is abysmally small.
-Using longbow induces serious aggro. If you want a boss to head towards you, just blindly spam longbow normal shots and the boss will head for you 100% [it doesn't matter if they hit mark or not]. Pretty useful when doing Lynotos

the reason I didn't use arrow storm is that sometimes it deal 0 dmg to the monster due to a major bug
Used the first skill - Bending Arrows occasionally by aiming at Boss' head, the damage bonus for the headshot is pretty good.
1:05, 2:49 Dual link, restraining the boss action with a wire.
5:26, 5:46, 7:19 Hitting the red aiming circle which stun the boss, the skills is called sudden flinch, with 7 Kai you can imagine how many times the boss flinch during the battle,
During the whole battle, the boss was able to successfully charge the projectiles for one time only, 7:45 one example of stunning the boss when he was charging the projectiles

Sorry about that, been so indulged in Final Fantasy XIII-2 and the server instability in Vindictus doesn't make me feel obligated to play at all lol.

he's busy unlocking battles and getting more gear. Plus his PC isn't that good, here's a SS of his Kai now (love the look, I wanted a similar one for my Kai):

the bigger issue is how big the boss is and how easy it is to stay at a appropriate range [not too far, not too close]
colru is one of the bosses where long bow is purely awesome
